Disappointed!
I had 2 hogs processed, the meat is gooey / sticky. The bacon is 3/4 fat. I believe the sausage was 1/2 fat. When making a lb. of sausage and bacon I had to drain the skillet to finish cooking. The flavor was good but paying $600. for processing I was not expecting it to be mostly fat. Only received 6 milk crates of meat for 2 hogs. I Will not be a repeat customer. Asked a couple questions and the person working said I don’t know I don’t usually do this.
Now to find another processor! 🥲

My 17yr old nephew got his first buck before Thanksgiving. He took it to Summit and paid for the meat processing up front. He has yet to get his meat. Everytime him or his mom has called they always tell them someone will get back with them, but no one ever calls back. It's been a month. My husband had his meat back in 4 days from Freshway foods and was not asked to pay up front. Has anyone else had issues like this before?
