Outstanding service. I had taken my "new" used car for an inspection at a dealer shop and was advised that I needed a major part replaced. I then visited Meineke, Shelbyville, my usual shop for my prior auto - always great service. Their team is excellent. They showed me directly where the issue was claimed by the dealer shop and that nothing was wrong whatsoever, taking the time to explain what would indicate the issue and very clearly that the dealer had misrepresented the problem. They followed their review with their own very thorough inspection of my car. I am grateful for their honesty and work that I can trust.

I had a bad experience at Meineke this morning when trying to get my trailer tire patched. I was told they wouldn’t do trailer tires even tho they have been patching mine for years. The district manager contacted me after to inform me that they have a new guy filling in until they can get a new manager and he didn’t know they worked on trailer tires. He was informed that they do in fact work on trailer tires and will be ready to fix mine the next time mine get a nail or screw. Originally was a 1 star but after the conversation with the district manager and his willingness to correct the issues I’ve changed to a 5 star.

PLEASE READ THIS and BEWARE !!! My son was recently married and headed down to Chattanooga to catch a honeymoon flight. He mentioned that there was a grinding sound in the rear wheel/axle area of his Toyota Highlander. I asked him to bring it to this "Car Care Center" for an inspection to deem it safe enough for the ride home. He paid $165 for an inspection and they found approximately $3000 dollars worth of stuff wrong from needing tires to struts and suspension. The fancy inspection report mentioned that there were no issues with the wheel bearings or the brakes.I was convinced that might be the problem. Over the phone with me , the Meineke manager stated that it was safe to drive home. Once home, I got him new tires and just heard back from my trusted mechanic here in Chattanooga. As he said, "Man he was lucky he didn't break down or worse". As it turns out wheel bearings were gone in both rear wheels and the brakes were worn out. I don't think they drove it or pulled the wheels of the vehicle for the inspection. Worse yet, I just spoke cordially to a man named Gary at Meineke and he said he'd look into it. I was hopeful that they might care that someone was doing poor quality work in their shop. He didn't ask me for a name, date, or a job number. Couldn't wait to get me off the phone. In case someone from the company is reading this, the RO # is 13198. Horrible and DANGEROUS!

Made an appointment online, got in the next day and didn't have to leave it overnight. Took only a few hours and got back on the road. Good financing options too.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement

Service was not what I have experienced from other Meineke locations. Price was much higher than previous work done at other locations. They automatically indicated other inspection items as declined even though I was not asked about items that were indicated as declined.

They did awesome! Got my car in and out in the time frame they stated and the pricing they gave me at the beginning was the same pricing I paid at the end. Car drives like it had before it needed repairs. Absolutely love this place!Services: Steering & suspension repair

Do not go here!!! We got completely scammed by them. They charged us an unbelievable amount and the problem has never been fixed after taking it back 3 times after they told us it was "good to go." This morning we once again had issues. We paid them way too much money for the car to be having any problems. They also were extremely unresponsive--kept the car for over a week without ever communicating to us what was going on and when it would be done. Everything about them is awful. Do not waste your money or time. They don't know what they're doing.

Extremely professional and honest! In today's society it's very rare to find honesty anywhere but the head of the shop got my A/C going again with minimal trouble and very quickly while being honest with exactly what was wrong! Thank you! Will be returning!Services: A/C installation & repair

The Shelbyville location of Valvoline messed up my vehicle during what should’ve been a simple oil change. Afterwards I went directly to Meineke, and they were very thorough and prompt in getting us fixed up and back on the road. Thank you Ronnie and team!!!Services: Tires

Situation #1Bad service on the Shelbyville location.I told to the person who attend to me that something was wrong with the tire and he said that there is nothing bad just I need keep monitoring the air.I detected that there is a nail on the tire. As well, I schedule the maintenance for to change oil and they can’t open the car hood so, they just delete the message from the display.BAD BAD SERVICE

I have used Meineke services for 7 years and will no longer be patronizing their business. I had a poor experience during my last oil change, my car was at the shop for 9 hours and when I came to pick it up I was told they "hadn't gotten to it yet". I contacted Customer Service, and they asked if I would "give their business another chance". I had a large amount of rewards points because of how often I use their services so I gave the business "another chance" but switched the shop location. This time I made an appointment to get my oil changed through the app and left a note on the appointment about my intention to use my Rewards points to redeem the free synthetic blend oil change my Meineke App said I had earned. I made the employee aware of my rewards points when I dropped my car off. When I returned I was told I didn't have enough points for my oil change. When I was given my total I asked why it was so high and questioned the type of oil put in my vehicle. I was told my vehicle "required" synthetic oil. I didn't make an apt for a synthetic oil change nor does my vehicle require synthetic oil. I was highly dissatisfied. I contacted customer service and it's been 4 days with no response.Service: Oil change

The manager there was very friendly and helpful. I was in and out in an hour for an inspection. He kindly told me the things I should do and explained all questions I had. He NEVER tried to push anything on me to have done to my car. Don’t know how well the mechanics are but management was very pleasant.
