We stopped here instead of a Louisville location because I hate trying to find ghetto stuff in Louisville. I’m from Shepherdsville and we came here since another restaurant closed up. It will be a little while before we return because it took just a little too long for our food to be done. And I get it - they were busy, short staffed (like everywhere else) and had the drive thru busy more than anything. Normally it doesn’t take as long as it did for the food to come out, but it seemed like anybody ordering ice cream or being in the drive thru was more important. I had to tell the person taking orders that my girl’s sugar was dropping and I needed the food soon! She gives me the food and we waited for my food to come out. I gave four stars instead of 5 because they were short staffed and only had 2 or 3 people working (from what I saw). Like I said, that ice cream came out in the snap of a finger, but you order anything else, and it took forever.

We always enjoy going here. I really like the newer menu which has expanded considerably since I would go with my sister in the 80s. I have some form of ice cream every time I go.

They were so kind and sweet me and my daughter went up there for some cones my daughter accidentally dropped hers and the young lady at the front politely remade it and made my daughters day

I was passing through on my way to the Fisk University Homecoming in Nashville, TN. The three employees were trying very hard and graciously to serve all of us customers. A bus load was coming through and they were working hard to accommodate them next. My husband and I order breakfast from Dairy Queen in Shepherdsville every Saturday and on a regular basis, there's something wrong with our order. This morning, my ultimate hasbrown didn't have any cheese or salsa and the very few eggs were burnt. My husband's biscuits and gravy had very little gravy. Very frustrating when the cost continues to go up.

We thought it took longer than expected to get our food. The crew in the kitchen. Wanted to talk to each other. Than getting customers orders done quickly. I worked in fast food for 10 plus years. And wow have things changed.

I recommend staying away from this DQ. I had to go back three times for them to get the order right. While we were there a man fell because of their slick floors. The tea was not drinkable. My burger was good but me and my wife both got sick in about an hour after eating.

UPDATE: Several decent visits in a row. Fresh food and quick service. They've even been friendly most of the time lol. True to my word I have returned to add a star. Up to 4 stars now. Kudos for the improvement.Used to be great service, now you have to sit at the drive thru speaker for a minimum of ten minutes to have your order taken. I waited eight minutes and said "hello?" The drive thru attendant said "hold on, we're making ice cream". I assume she meant from scratch considering my wait time.Update— Rudest service I’ve ever received in my life from an obviously disgruntled young lady who also got my order wrong. She was slamming things in the garbage can and raising her voice while staring at me in threatening manner while i stayed calm and collected. It is beyond my comprehension that so many employees witnessed her behavior and did nothing unless they fear for their safety. That wouldn’t surprise me as she was very hateful and aggressive. This is the third time I have dealt with her miserable rudeness and it went over the top this time. She should be ashamed of herself and the establishment should be ashamed for allowing her to continue her harassment and beration of customers.Update: been back a couple of times and everything was ok so I’m adding a star. A couple more decent visits and I’ll add another.Update 4/18/23:I've had several pleasant visits in a row. Service was reasonably fast and most visits the employees were actually friendly. As I said I would do, I have returned to add another star to my review. I waited many months to return after the worker threw a hissy fit at the drive through window, and I haven't had the displeasure of witnessing her act out her personal misery since.
