The best daycare we have had and nicest staff to date! There is so much they do for the kids such as water days, activities, and even small animal mascots. Would definitely recommend to everyone!

Mrs Kristin runs a tight ship but if you as a parent drop your kids off in a timely manner, pick them up in a timely manner, and pay your fees on time- your golden. My son is 4 and has came here for a bit over a year now and I don’t have any complaints with how he’s treated. Even on his bad days, they take great care and have patience with him. They even work with him on numbers, letters, and other pre-K skills, which I appreciate. He has learned so much just by coming here and will be ready for elementary school thanks to them. The only thing I’d complain about is I wish they could accept credit/debit card for payments (they only do cash/check/money order), and I wish they had a website or app that we could log into to see pics of our kids through out the day like a lot of other daycares do. There are lots of free apps like class dojo that I think would be great for them to utilize. They do have an open door policy though, so if you ever wanna drop in and look around as a parent, you can.

My son goes here (Cedar Grove location) Mrs Kristen and her girls are super nice, the rest of the staff as well. They have really listened to any concerns I have had as a parent and resolved any issues quickly and reasonably. They have been very helpful and onboard with potty training. My son is comfortable being dropped off and my Kristen has really worked with us going through all the toddler stuff.

My son has been going to this daycare since he was 1 and he’s now 7. My daughter the same and she’s now 4. Obviously there is a reason why we haven’t left after all these years! I consider everyone at this daycare like family. All the teachers love and care for my kids like they are their own. My kids get so excited each more to go to daycare especially when they get to see their favorite teachers. All the teachers are good but there are a some that just stand out more than others… Chelsea, Haley, Julie, and Lily. Those 4 teachers I cannot say enough good things about them. They will do everything in their power to insure kids have the very best day. They notice when kids aren’t themselves and they try and make their days brighter. They are Stern and also respected by the kids. When I see these teachers each days they let me know how my kids did and let me know if there are anything that we need to work on. If your child ever gets the chance to be in a class with Chelsea or Julie it will literally be the BEST experience for your child. Both teachers are so passionate, loving, and caring. Chelsea has been with my son since he was TWO! They have such a strong bond. My son doesn’t trust very many people and to see the trust that he has for Chelsea truly means a lot. Huge shout out to Haley! My daughter was struggling to get potty trained. Haley though, she put a plan in place and within two weeks my daughter is FINALLY potty trained! Lily, she created a potty chart for my daughter as well. Completely her idea!! Which also helped. It’s these things right here that teachers take upon themselves to show they actually care about the kids. This daycare is full of loving compassionate caring teachers!

Absolutely love southside Christian. 2 of my kids used to go here & loved it. My son goes now & he loves all teachers and Mrs Kristen so much even on my off fridays he chooses to go to southside Christian instead of staying home. I have friends that also take their kids here & has for years, they also love it. Staff is awesome!

Southside Christian Child Care (Cedar Grove) left my 4 year old daughter alone outside today and only noticed when she wasn't in class when we showed up.

My son came here 3 years ago. He was left in a crib crying with snot all over his face and crying. Mind you my son was 2 and his room shouldn’t have a crib. They then went in my employee file to get my number when I quit because of the abuse my son was getting! I would give 0/5 if I could. I just hope they have improved

Two employees need to be fired if they haven’t been already. Morgan and her fiancé threaten children and communicate in group chats with the other workers how they’re wanting to “sling them against the wall”. I’m sorry but in a professional setting, that type of behavior is so wrong. Even if they said it out of pure frustration, cps wouldn’t take that lightly so this daycare shouldn’t either. I doubt most of them are even licensed to work in this setting. I’ve had parents tell me their children come home with bruises that aren’t in places that justify “horseplay”. I know two people who have worked there and they both have quit due to the other employees and the way they handle the children, they said it was hard for them to stomach. This place needs a serious reevaluation on their employees and who they hire in the future.

This place is horrible . They will treat your child like a number and that's it. The staff have been observed on multiple occasions smoking weed and then being allowed to drive company van to go pick up children. I was also given screen shots of the employees text group were they are threatening to physically harm children due to them crying or not acting exactly the way the staff wants or intends them to act. Management does nothing when told about the issues at hand. Working on hiring legal counsel to help me further the investigation and get this problem taken care of.

I have had both of my babies in here since they were newborns and the staff and workers there have been nothing but very kind to me and my children I almost feel like it's family watching my kids that's how much they care about them.
