Stopped by the store today around 4:30pm and it wasn't open despite the hours on the building and online saying they were supposed to be open. The only thing open in this strip was the bar.

This place was absolutely beautiful! So many things to look at and all the people were absolute sweethearts! There's lots of talented people selling prints, lots of interesting books and of course tons of stones and gems. We actually went there several times and did the gem mining once. The kids got several bags full of cool stuff from it.

I got the sifting/mining bucket.
This store paints rocks/gems which ended up turning my hands blue, and my towel blue. After sifting out the agate shards it started dripping pink! I tried using isopropyl alcohol to get the blue off my hands..not much luck. Not to mention I got marbles?? If I were to know it had marbles and painted rocks. I wouldn't have gotten it.

Stopped in on our way back from hiking at Natural Bridge. This store is sooo cool! My fiance and I ended up trying out gem mining. We started with the $15 bucket & had so much fun we ended up buying the $35 bucket too! Fossils, crystals, beautiful amethysts, arrowheads, and more all in the buckets. We can’t wait to stop in again!!
