Stargazer cabin was perfect for 2 people and 2 large dogs. The campground was clean and had great open space. The cabin could could use hooks, shelves and towel racks . Storage was limited.

Will start with the good. The scenery was amazing. Definitely a great spot with a TON of potential. The pond looked nice, it was definitely dyed. The fountain in the middle was cool, and lit up with different colors at night. The kids were excited to fish. We never made it to a bait shop, but we did catch some crawdads in the tiny stream behind the shower house to use as bait. The not so great: Be sure to bring a long hose for water. There is not a dedicated water spigot for each site. It looked like most RV site shared one. The managers did have "Y" splitters to use and a long hose we borrowed to fill up our tank, then we just used the pump. Luckily we only stayed 2 days and didn't have to refill. It is just a big field, not any privacy if thats what your into. As mentioned before, the bathrooms and showers are pretty rough. Honestly, if they could get a better bath and shower situation going, it could easily be a 5 star. It is a little narrow getting into the park. Note that there is a dump station, no sewer at each site.

It's so peaceful and beautiful! The sell wheelbarrows of wood for only $20. Two Wheelbarrows lasted 4 days so it's a lot of dire wood. Bathrooms are clean, water in the first shower was hot enough...didn't use the second one.Restrooms: Clean, each one has a separate lockable door so the fact the it is men's and women's is a non factor. Each room has its own sink.Dog-friendliness: Lots of dogs here and all were quiet and watchedPicnic area: Up by the office under a roof

A pretty, quiet and simple camping park in a convenient and lovely spot. Very pet friendly. People seem very nice. Nice bathrooms/shower facilities for camping. They are continually improving the area with a camp store in the plans. Great place for little ones to learn to fish.Restrooms: Restrooms are not fancy, but clean and serves the purpose. They continue to make improvements to them, which is nice.Dog-friendliness: Very dog friendly. Cost extra to bring the fur babies, but plenty of walking space for the responsible owner.

We stayed Fri-Sun. The only improvement I would suggest are the restrooms. We plan to come to visit the area again soon but won't stay here because of the restroom facilities. Not much privacy in showers. One of the doors have a huge gap so people can see in. The campground itself looks clean and our site was nice and big. Lots of room for our doggies to run and the kids enjoyed the stream behind the camper. I'll check back for updates on the restrooms and we will visit again once that is updated.

We stayed in our 30ft travel trailer with 1 slide at this campground for 5 nights in Sep 2023. When we arrived on a weekday, we were the second camper. On the weekend, the campground had many tent campers that stayed for 2 nights only. I think there were 6 RVs at the most during our stay. The area is popular for hiking. There were local restaurants (BBQ, Pizza, ice cream/coffee shop and a restaurant with more variety). Walmart is 40-45 mins away. We did not see any major department store nearby. As for groceries, I think Krogers was the closest. We did not go to this store so I don’t know any further specifics. We did not notice an emergency clinic, but we did not seek one. The campground has a pond with a colorful water feature. You cannot swim or fish in the pond. Upon arrival, the lady in the office was friendly and helpful. The office is also the caretaker’s home. If you need any information, you can call the office or knock on the door up to 9pm. Otherwise, you do not see or hear from the caretaker. The campground has camping sites with gravel and some green areas that were well maintained. We were able to level our RV without any issues and I think it would be the same for any site. They also have cabins on the campground’s periphery. The fire rings for the camp site was in an awkward location as we could not use ours; it was too close to the RV and nearly under our RV awning. There is 1 bathroom house and 1 shower house. They are older small cabins for each. We went in just to look and they were not tidy or clean. The sewage dump for campers is right in front of the bathroom cabin. There is no sewage hookup for RVs at the camping sites. The Wi-Fi was weak and intermittent. We use Verizon and had poor signal in this area - maybe 1 bar. While hiking, we had no phone internet. The water pressure was weak. I was not able to wash my hair, but we did take showers. Our RV has 2 AC units. We were only able to run 1 AC unit. The area has many beautiful trails of moderate intensity. The rock formations on these trails are absolutely beautiful and worth the hike. The Gorge Underground kayak tour was excellent and we felt worth the time/cost. I would recommend the Natural Bridge Campground for RVs only as an overnight stay or if you have a friend camping with you that needs a cabin. Otherwise, we would check out the Natural Bridge State Park Resort Campground as their sites are next to a stream and they had many RVs there, but not crowded.

There is a 3 legged dog that the owners let roam around during the night. Don’t expect to sleep if you are a tent camper, because it will keep you up with its constant barking. That, on top of the terrible restroom and shower facilities, makes this the absolute worst campsite I’ve ever been to.

Very quaint campground with water and 50 amp service. The staff is very nice and this is the place for relaxation. No sewer so be dumped before you arrive.

I've read the negative reviews left for this camp site. People get over it, it's a campground. You didn't sign up for a four star resort. The dog does not belong to the owners of the campground and it did not cause any issue the entire time we were here.As far as the owner's coming out and talking to you on the stairs, it's their house. Would you let people walk into your home to register for a campsite? What a bunch of Karen's!!kWe stayed at star gazer cabin. It was great, and we had a wonderful time. Centrally located to anything we wanted to do. The owner's were more than helpful anytime. We had a question where needed anything. We had such an enjoyable time we worked an extra night. I would suggest it, but remember. It is a campground, not a resort.

Cute Cabin, but dont advertise wifi if it NEVER works!! You need to add boosters to the cabins and all of your cabins and then everyone should be able to get service. We stayed in Celestial Dreams and we were charges a $35 cleaning fee which I don't mind IF the cabin is clean. Trash cans should be washed out after each guest leaves. They were absolutely crusty and gross! There were about 15-20 dead flies lining the window in the kitchen. The ceiling was covered in dust--like heavy dust. The bathroom was not as clean as I would have preferred. Cute pond and the grounds were very well maintained. I would stay again, but would hope the cabin would be cleaned

Great staff, nice sites, and convenient location! Prices are reasonable, if not lower than surrounding campgrounds. And you can buy wood by the wheelbarrow! They have cabins but I cannot comment on them as I was at a site but I hear they are nice as well. 10/10 would recommend!

We stayed in the Star Gazer cabin. The hot tub was a big draw but very disappointing. It held more than the water heater was capable of and would have taken atleast 2 days to fill. The doors need some work so they open fully. But overall it was a very cute cabin and cozy. Could use a side table with lamp. Way too many lights on the ceiling..

This was by far the worst experience in any campground. The restrooms were absolutely filthy!!!!! I just refused to use them. I went to the nearby rest stop. The shower house was a joke. Very dirty!!!!! We also had a storm, which then made our water very dark and dirty. We could no longer use their water. The layout was so strange. I wouldn’t use this campground again, if they said I could stay there for free. I recommend DONT book with them!!!!

Natural Bridge Campground, privately owned was acquired & now managed by Red River Gorge Vacations. This is a first for me to write a negative review regarding a camp experience &we've been camping for 8 years at least 5 months each year. The campground itself is very nice with mountains all around. Disappointed in mgmt with our check in. door to office mostly locked & she stood on the steps outside to talk to me when we checked in. Told her we were reserved at site "x" with a response was OK, go on over. Nothing else. No paper, explanation/info on wifi or restrooms or any info about grounds. There was trash in our firepit. Not once in the week we were there did we see anyone check on sites when campers left. One day I saw 2 guys "rake" 2 sites nearby as the gravel had deep ruts. Never did they try to rake along roadside where there were muddy ruts. For us RVr's, plan on using your own restroom/ shower facilities! Tent campers-good luvk. Theirs are in 2 separate bldgs, Men's/ women's restroom all under one roof with no separation, yes doors on each of the few stalls. They were the dirtiest & smelliest I've ever witnessed. We were there for a week & I can tell you I'd rather used portholes or better just squat in the woods. The shower house floors felt like you were going to fall through the floor they were so soft. Shower curtains full of mold & the floor was a pink in color às sometimes a toilet bowl gets from water sitting too long. Both bldgs stunk so bad. It's such a shame because they are building beautiful cabins along the same side as these shower/restroom (very old bldgs) & should be putting some $$ into restroom/showers. There were alot of tent campers but even for a weekend & us leaving on weekday the trash cans full, toilets look like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks. We were self contained but for a full week with only water/ elec sites, having a clean restroom would've been helpful. I sure hope they put money into their restrooms/ showers for guests. We drove thru the state park Middle Fork- it was much better & cheaper, tighter sites. We had 4 tents, young adults, next to us that also complained of bathrooms & their check in. they were supposed to have electric at both sites, only one box. They too were going to write review. Pictures are the restroom, hallway is the Men/Women combined restroom(s)Restrooms: HORRID! Filthy, smelly & disgusting. Not sure why it indicates Men/Women on the outside of bldg as it was under one roof with stalls side by side. They were NOT cleaned daily & I can tell you being there a week, I never saw anyone go in & they looked/ smelled same on the day we left. Pictures don't lieDog-friendliness: Very dog friendly!
