Very disappointing experience at Lowe's just now. The only option to leave the store was to go through a self checkout lane. I don't work at Lowe's, I don't get a discount for going through self check out, and I choose personally to never go through self check out, but I was told that a Corporate decision was made to close down all the cashier lanes and have self checkout lines only. Very, very, very disappointed in Lowe's.

I ordered a refrigerator online, and it took them almost a week and it arrived damaged. had to send it back and get a different brand just so I would have a fridge. and I'm still waiting!!! never using Lowes again!

We used Lowes of Somerset, Kentucky for a major home remodel. They made us pay up front for the entire amount. That was in October of 2020. They had a completion Date of April 2021. One of the items was to replace a french door, (both doors open), The install cordinator, Kevin (scame to the residence and measured the door himself, he also measure windows inluding bath room window that opened, First installers worked about a month, leftvandcwas not seen again. They left the jjob half done with the wrond door and wrong windows installed. The under pinning under the house was left open for several months. This resulted in a rodent problem. They took the gutters off the house and left them laying, They left both garabge piled up along with scraps for us to deal with, All of this while I was in the hospital. Multiple calls before a second crew, who was excellent showed up. They destroyed lawn decorations for no reason in areas they were not working in. Parts of the trim of the siding are misaligned.They where unable to finish due to Lowes originally not ordering enough materials and had to leave for another job, the third crew finally showed up and completed the job almost two years from the date they received the full payment. They where not happy to be here, and barley completed the job. Left a lot of materials, that Kevin from Lowes said we would get a refund for, which we did not.NEVER USE THEM AGAIN, dishonest and a disgrace.

Not even sure where to begin and this isn't just about this store. Bought a house and wanted to replace all the appliances since some were not working right. Everyone in the store is supper friendly and helpful. My two stars goes to the management and outside company they use for delivery. The appliances came in three different deliveries. That's fine. First delivery though ended up with zero mailbox, scratched doors, and broken patio steps. The delivery people are trained how to install by watching videos. They didn't know you can move the legs on the bottom of the stove to raise it and level. The dryer vent fell off the wall. They didn't have all the tools needed to apply the wires to the appliances. Okay. Think it's all fixed and handled after talking to two managers. Then delivery two went great. Get my hopes up that we are good. Then delivery number three. Auto voice message on a Thursday that I'm getting a delivery the next day. Someone at the store changed my delivery to the next day with zero consent. Like people don't work. Call the store and got one of the same managers Lisa. If you get Lisa on the phone to help with any problems, just hang up and save your breath. Think it's all handled. Get a phone call Friday from delivery people saying they are 5 mins out. Thanks Lisa for the help. Have to go through the delivery company to get my original delivery date set back up. Fridge came defective. The low price for the appliances was not worth all the stress and time of having to deal with this store. You definitely get what you pay for at this Lowe's.

After reading some of these negative reviews, I felt I should contribute my positive review. We purchased a new range and it was delivered on Monday. The oven didn’t work like it should, so I called on Saturday and was immediately put through to a manager. He was very professional and said they would bring a replacement on SUNDAY! My replacement was delivered by 10:30 SUNDAY morning! Thank you Lowe’s for standing behind your promise!

We purchased a lawnmower and was over charged $171.74 dollars for it. I took the receipt back in and the young lady at the counter didnt know how to do a refund on the register. She then gave it to another lady and she didnt know how either so she told me to come back later and she would figure it out. When I went back they explained to me that they couldn't give me my refund. So when you purchase something make sure it rings up right at the time of the sale or you wont get your refund.

We went to the Somerset Lowe's yesterday about 2:00 to purchase a kitchen full of granite countertops. We went back to that section of the store and waited for over 45 minutes for someone to wait on us. We requested assistance from three different Lowe's employees but never got waited on. We finally left. This is an ongoing problem with this store. They rarely have what you want, if they do it's not out and it is hard to get waited on. It evidently needs new management and some competition.

I ordered a washer and dryer May 29th using Lowes.com. Called 800# to get a date I would be at lake house. Lowe's website showed they would be delivered 3 days and no one showed (8am to 8 pm window). I voiced my unhappiness to the store and sat on hold for over an hour for customer support. On the 4th delivery day July 3rd they called and said my dryer hasn't arrived yet. What was really happening is they kept giving it to someone else. We ended up switching colors and they delivered this time. My complaint is lack of communication from Lowe's that delivery was canceled and customer service saying it is on the truck when it wasn't.

We purchase a washer and dryer combination and we was not told we needed the hoses, the 220 3 prong plug, the dryer vent hose. Mario was the salesman. Had we been probably informed Lowes could have install the system? All they could do was drop of the washer/dryer combo. When got down from Ohio to Monticello where my daughter lives, we went to Ace The Hardware Place on their 20 year anniversary

Had ordered a new one piece toilet and a new dishwasher the last week of February 2019. Was scheduled for install of both items on 3/6/19 at 1pm. 145pm and nobody had shown up. Called lowes installation and was told It was gonna be 2 hours or more before they could show up. That's completely unacceptable. My time is valuable as theirs is. I called Lowe's and want to speak to a manager. Spoke to an assistant manager who was very lacking in communication skills and customer service. I requested to speak to the manager and was told he was on lunch. I said I wanted him to call me back when he got Back. Spoke with the manager and he wanted to call installation and see what the hold up was. Was called back at 2:45 by the manager and was told that unfortunately there would be a 2 hour delay. I told him this was unacceptable. A multi billion dollar company should be able to get installers to show up at if not at the agreed time very close to it. I told him that I would be requesting a refund on my credit card and I will take my business elsewhere.

Well, first of all I have been a loyal customer of Lowe's for the last almost 14 years. However, lately it seems like the customer service has gone down hill. I call and the telephone just rings and rings. After trying back 3 times someone eventually answers the phone. I ask to speak to someone from "Installation. The reason I asked is because I purchased a storm door for my rear sunroom porch on June 17, 2018. Of course, since I was having Lowe's install it. I had to wait until an installer calls me to set up an appointment to come out and measure the space. The installer called me in June 20, 2018. Said he would like to come out to measure the door. I was out of town but since he said that he was there and could measure the area where the new door would be installed without me being there. Anyway, I waited and waited to get a call from the installer since the measures determined that the door was in stock. No call was given. So, I stopped by the Lowe's in Somerset, Ky and asked what the holdup was. The salesman said that the installer (Mr. Ball) was 6 weeks behind. I was given his number to call him to see if he could install the door sooner. That met with negative results. Today is June 27, 2018, and I have yet to hear from Lowe's or the installer about a possible date to have the door installed. If there is going to be a long period between purchase and installation then someone in the door department should tell me up front. This way I could have waited to purchase the door. I don't mind giving my name is number. It is Terry Baker, 606-219-0254. I have purchased a lot of things from Lowe's over the years, and I feel like I deserve better. You be the judge.
