“Came in today for lunch and ordered a New York strip steak that comes regularly with rice but I paid extra for a baked potato and also paid extra for sautéed asparagus. Food was great,steak was a tad thinner then I'm used to but very juicy and flavorful. I was going to get salad bar as well but when I approached the bar it was iceberg lettuce so I changed my mind. They did come to my table though and offer to cut up some Romain (which I appre)but I was no longer interested. I will be returning again soon to try out the dinner menu”

Crafts - Holiday supplies to decorate - Food Products - Cleaning Products - Candies - Can goods - Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner - Dessert supplies -Home decoration's - Cosmetics - Hygiene products - Cooking Supplies & lots more. Some name brands - Some different brands - it can get crowded in there at times. Almost forgot - All types of greeting cards -All kinds of balloons for different celebrations. It's a good idea that you take some time & look around in there yourself. There's something in there for everyone - young to older.Several locations in town - ENJOY !!!”

“This store is very well kept and fully stocked. With being in retail I know everywhere is short handed, but I didn’t see any stock carts in the aisles of this store. There was only one person there, her name is Nicole and she was very friendly and helpful. She was running register and ordering in between customers. I gave 5 stars because I know how it is doing multiple things and keeping a good attitude about it and she did just that. Keep up the great work guys!”

“Overall experience was very good. Except that the one item I really went there to buy, they didn't have it. Other than that the clearance aisles are always a disaster and kind of overwhelming to look through plus anytime I have found an item I wanted in the clearance aisle, there's never a price posted or a price tag sticker with clearance price and I hate having to ask an employee to keep looking up prices so I just end up not buying any of it. But Diamond Ave store is not only store with clearance aisle issues. Every location I have been is same way. I understand being cluttered and unorganized because people shopping cause that mess but putting a price tag with the clearance price on those items would be very helpfu....l Sorry for such a long comment...”

“Our car broke down on the way out and Lindsey personally GOT MY CAR UP AND RUNNING WITH HER OWN TWO HANDS WHILE STILL RUNNING THE STORE. Can’t say there’s any better customer service than that. I love this location despite them being short staffed because the staff that does come in are SPECTACULAR. The dedication she had to help a stranger in need is not easy to come by, give this girl a raise promotion something !!!”

“This location has done the remodel which makes shopping easier and check out alot quicker. I was behind 4-5 people so it looked like id be standing there for a while and another customer service specialist opened up another register and both of them got us all checked out and gone in 2 minutes or less.”
“Stores looking better, shelves are getting filled. The ladies are so nice, I always hear such encouraging words from what I assume is management to their employees. The only problem I ever have in there is when I come in at night and the man who wears the baseball hat, is normally slow and it takes forever to get through his line as he wants to talk more than do his job, which is get customers in and out efficiently.”

“I've went to a lot of Dollar General stores in my life and a lot of times they're unfortunately understaffed and the stores aren't the most organized (which I know is no fault of the people who are working in the stores themselves) but I tell you, I visited this store and Joe was the kind man who took care of me while I was there. He was professional, attentive and performed well under the stress of taking care of a busy store. I will drive out of my way to visit this DG as long as they have employees like him working for them!”
