“This is my go to spot for the most reasonably priced necessities. Add to that, the staff at the locations I frequent, are extremely helpful! Like today when I was looking for coffee and couldn't find any on the shelf a clerk spotted an unopened box and rushed a bag up to me at the till. Awesome service.”

“Overall experience was very good. Except that the one item I really went there to buy, they didn't have it. Other than that the clearance aisles are always a disaster and kind of overwhelming to look through plus anytime I have found an item I wanted in the clearance aisle, there's never a price posted or a price tag sticker with clearance price and I hate having to ask an employee to keep looking up prices so I just end up not buying any of it. But Diamond Ave store is not only store with clearance aisle issues. Every location I have been is same way. I understand being cluttered and unorganized because people shopping cause that mess but putting a price tag with the clearance price on those items would be very helpfu....l Sorry for such a long comment...”

“Our car broke down on the way out and Lindsey personally GOT MY CAR UP AND RUNNING WITH HER OWN TWO HANDS WHILE STILL RUNNING THE STORE. Can’t say there’s any better customer service than that. I love this location despite them being short staffed because the staff that does come in are SPECTACULAR. The dedication she had to help a stranger in need is not easy to come by, give this girl a raise promotion something !!!”

“Well I don't know about all of the past negative reviews but I have been frequenting this store since the end of October and it has been nothing but a great experience every single time. The employees are some of the most welcoming and nice people that I have had to deal with in retail. Absolutely love the employees at work here and love the fact that they never make you feel like you're interrupting them or being a burden on them or whatever because some people really do act like that at their jobs and I can't stand it. Glad the kind of people that are working there are working there!”
“It's okay depending on who is working. I will say a lot of shelves are pretty much empty. They have even turned some of it in to dollar tree I think it should be called family dollar tree”
“This location has done the remodel which makes shopping easier and check out alot quicker. I was behind 4-5 people so it looked like id be standing there for a while and another customer service specialist opened up another register and both of them got us all checked out and gone in 2 minutes or less.”

“I've went to a lot of Dollar General stores in my life and a lot of times they're unfortunately understaffed and the stores aren't the most organized (which I know is no fault of the people who are working in the stores themselves) but I tell you, I visited this store and Joe was the kind man who took care of me while I was there. He was professional, attentive and performed well under the stress of taking care of a busy store. I will drive out of my way to visit this DG as long as they have employees like him working for them!”
