Sleep Study Staff is great here. Lot better than those hospital beds in the hospital sleep study rooms. This is a 5 star experience. I have a CPAP and my follow up care has been excellent. Dr. A, has an excellent bedside manner.

This was a horrible experience. HUGE SCAM. I saw the physician and he ordered a sleep study. The beds were hard and crunchy, there is no wi-fi and reception was awful (how do you have people spend the night and not have wi-fi?), and everything is in desperate need of a remodel. The bathroom was clean, and there were no bedbugs, so that was the positive I took from this experience (the tech was nice too). In the morning, they scheduled another sleep study to fit me with a C-pap and said if the Dr. determined I didn't need the c-pap, they would call and cancel. They didn't. So I reached out a few days before to make sure I actually need it, and they said, "No, you don't have sleep apnea," and cancelled my appointment. That was it. No results, no "let's see what the dr recommends," etc. So I called back again and they said that they could send me the report, I just had to email them to show that it's okay to release the record over email. So I did and got my report. Here's my takeaway... If you don't have sleep apnea, they couldn't care less about your sleep issues. Go somewhere that wants to help you, this place doesn't. By the way, the determined amount I agreed to pay prior to the sleep study was $84. I paid it, and now I received a bill for another $43.83.

I had a sleep study done recently and the people at American Sleep Medicine were extremely friendly and professional. The sleep center itself was very clean, nice, and the bed was comfortable. I will recommend them to everyone I know!

I’m actually shocked at these reviews! Another doctor wanted my records from here— I had my second sleep study done about 4 mos ago here. I had the first one done here about 5-6 years ago. BOTH experiences were nearly identical, and I did have two different insurance providers.Also, when I called to ask them to fax over my records, they were as sweet as they could be— just as always!!I LOVE Dr. A! Super kind! Could give lessons in bedside manner! Every person I came across was very patient and very kind when I did my sleep study. I suffer from really bad an anxiety, so each person made sure to make note of it and treat me accordingly, and with patience.It IS downstairs btw— but it’s a SLEEP STUDY PLACE!! The darkness is justifiable! It honestly helped me sleep better. It’s in a very well known building, easy to get to and out of.Thank you ASM! I’ll be back again should I ever need ya!

Speak to your insurance before paying them anything. My insurance notified them that they would be paying for both of the sleep studies. Now they owe me almost $900 that they took from me (as well as from my insurance) and I can’t even get them to call me back. I am waiting on this refund so i can now buy my c-pap machine that my insurance is actually not going to be paying for. It’s been over 2 weeks and still no call back. I’m starting to think their billing manager “Jennifer” doesn’t exist.

Had a sleep study in Aug and paid with a FSA card, been calling repeatedly for over 3 weeks attempting to get ahold of someone to get an itemized statement to show proof without success!

Let me start by saying that they are located in a dark dingy basement of a building that is very creepy! It has been several years since I have been to see the doctor, but I needed to see him in order for him to write my prescription for my CPAP machine recall, so I could get a new machine. I brought in my report from my CPAP, it appeared that the machine was working as it showed no problems. But the Dr. came in saw me for 5 minutes and just told me that I had to come in a do another sleep study at a cost of over $600! And billed me $200 for the 5 minute visit! All I wanted was him to write me the CPAP prescription for my machine! So I am sure that it would have costed me well over $1,000 just in office visits and sleep study, just so he could rewrite my same prescription, just so I can pay another $1,000 for a new machine! This Dr. doesn't seem to have any bedside manner, plus I get the feeling he couldn't care less, it's all about making money for him! Find a different sleep doctor!

Pam Starr is amazing from the starting process to the final results. She goes above and beyond to do what she can to help all. Thank you for everything AMS does for patients and staff. I wouldn't recommend any other Sleep Facility.

While I love Dr. Almasalkhi, American Sleep Medicine not so much. They owe me a refund and I have been trying to get it for 3 months. I have called the billing company 12 times and each time they tell me that someone will call me back that day. Has yet to happen!!! Time for the next step.

I have been a patient since 2016 and somehow I am now a patient of, Norton Pulmonary group. I just found this out, as I called, American Sleep to inquire about a prescription my supply company is trying to get updated with my correct machine pressure. I’ve not had any good experiences with this office since my sleep study- but stayed with them because I didn’t want to go through another sleep study. The staff has always been rude and snarky. I am actually quite thankful that they sent my patient file with, Dr. Khan @ Norton Pulmonary! I already spoke to a VERY nice lady that answered their phones and she was BEYOND helpful.Don’t wast your money nor your time at, American Sleep. They definitely don’t have good bedside manners, and obviously they will not inform you of any changes that would affect your supply refills, etc.I hope this helps at least one person- because it’s a travesty when you can’t get good healthcare anymore.

To be honest, I first came to this place about 10 years ago and after my original sleep study and getting my CPAP, I didn't come back (mostly because I didn't know that regular appointments were an expectation), but also because the doctor back this was a bit rude...When my CPAP machine crapped out on me recently (10 years isn't a bad run I guess), I returned and have gotten nothing my exception care. Diane is always super helpful and receptive to my needs whenever I call the office and Dr. A is quick and responsive.The reason I am most grateful is because when I had COVID in early December and was anxious about possible breathing issues developing (which they didn't), they were reassuring, educated me on issues related to my health, COVID, sleep apnea, etc, and adjusted my pressure to a range that gave me peace of mind and much better sleep than the nights prior to making the call.

I was so nervous about doing a sleep study. However, the entire experience was professional, and I was at ease. The staff are friendly and quick to answer my questions. Shout out to Diane for going above and beyond.
