This has been my Kroger for probably 20 years. At this point, I'm sorry to say I do the majority of my shopping at Target across the street and I'll definitely be checking out Publix when it opens. There are constant inventory issues and they no longer carry some of their own PS products. Sad, but true.

I have shopped at our Kroger in St. Matthews (Hubbards Lane) for over 25 years and think it's a nice place to shop. We have many other grocery options nearby like Whole Foods, Walmart, Target & Trader Joe's (my other go-to). They keep evolving with the times, with curb service groceries, etc. The produce is good quality for the $. The little clinic is handy. Many of the people at this Kroger have been working there a long time and are very friendly. My minor beef is with the deli. It takes forever to get meat sliced. The system they used to have was great because you could order at a kiosk and come back at the end of your shopping to pickup.

What was I thinking going to Kroger right after an ice storm and the day or so before the next big snow? Yeesh! But I was able to find what I need with a little extra searching. Some things I like about this Kroger: * Awesome cheese selection. And the employee working at the cheese counter was knowledgeable and helpful. I was looking for a cheese that I had a few weeks ago but couldn't remember the name of. This employee pointed me in the right direction. * Large produce section with a large selection of organic veggies and fruits. I became acquainted with this selection due to some other non-organic produce I was looking for being sold out on account of the impending winter weather. * Fun home/kitchen wares selection. This isn't the largest Kroger I've been in, but it is definitely on the higher end. I was a bit frustrated though by the placement of some products, though. I largely shop at Krogers, and I feel like I know a bit where to expect items. But placement just seemed off in this Kroger. For example, the cream cheese was at the complete other side of the dairy section from the milk, yogurt and sour cream. And the garlic bread was in a different aisle than the frozen dinner entrees. This Kroger was clean, and the carts were cleared from the parking lot. Grocery stores have been key especially over the last year, so I am very grateful for the work of everyone here.

This is my go-to store for groceries and prescriptions. This Kroger typically has a better selection of deli/cheese/sushi items than other Krogers. Though their selection runs a little low on the weekends. My rating is mostly based on the employees and staff. I work with individuals who have special needs. We come to this Kroger almost weeto practice community skills (paying, finding items at a grocery, managing crowds, etc..). Every time I have been here, the employees have been very kind and patient with the individuals I work with. They always show patience and care when allowing time for independence, and practice with paying and social skills. One time one of the employees even had a badge that stated his name as "Mr, Clause". Such a fun way to make a difficult year more festive for kids and adults alike. Thank you to the employees who have remained kind and patient, when shoppers are not.

Went into the wine and spirits section to ask a simple question and once I asked the question the two women behind the counter were very rude and acted like I was an asshole for even asking if they had a certain bottle of bourbon.
