OK for what it is. Getting lottery tickets & that 1 item you need without standing in long line. NEVER BUY MILK HERE. EVER. That's my 1 item. Bought twice, both times on way home & it was in fridge in less than 20 min. Both curdled within days, last literally 3 days later, 10 days before expiration. Evidently they mishandle refrigerated goods

This is the spot! The staff are very friendly and helpful and if you are any type of 'smoker' at all, they got what you need, what you don't need, and what you didn't even know you needed. and the snacks you need to!

i would give a 0 star if i could. my boyfriend and i went in there for like 5 minutes and looked around to find some snacks/drinks and the man working there told us that we needed to hurry up and asked why we were taking so long because he needed to go to the back. we got what we needed and went to the counter and he said “all that time for this?”. if you’re gonna go make it less than 5 minutes ig🤷🏽♀️

DO. NOT. SHOP. HERE. If the word of one of the highly trained female legal minds means anything,… Just don’t. I won’t detail for litigation purposes. But I am bothering to sue so no young women or any disabled (or just unreadable) person has to experience this type of harassment and discrimination. The lawsuit over discrimination will have the details . Jefferson County, KY

I am posting to share my experience with the St. Matthews Mini Mart. My kids love to save their allowance and walk or ride bikes up to the store to buy treats. In the past month, they've felt unwelcome in the store. This evening, I walked my son and daughter up to the store so they could buy some candy. I waited outside. My son came out and said that once again, the man behind the counter was rushing him. The man said, "come on, hurry up" and was tapping his hands on the counter. This is the second time this has happened. There was another incident in which my son and his friend rode scooters up to the store. They propped their scooters up against the building and were yelled at and told that they would have to pay $800 if they damaged the building. So, they left and shopped elsewhere. After we walked home tonight I drove up there and politely asked the man if there was a problem with the kids being in the store. I explained the experiences my kids have had. I asked him if he told them to hurry up. He said that he did and went on to explain that a couple of weeks ago "20 kids" came in and they did damage to the store. I feel terrible that happened to him but I told him that my kids were not part of that group and have always been polite. Not to mention, the first time he rushed my kids was several weeks ago. I explained that we support his business. He said he didn't care if it my kids were not part of the group that caused problems. His exact words were, "I am not a Walmart. If you want to shop somewhere else, you can shop somewhere else. Kids have three minutes to shop in the store and that rule is for all kids." It is a bit disheartening that, after trying to talk to him and understand the situation better, he basically told me to shop elsewhere. We won't be shopping at the St. Matthews Mini Mart again. We love to support local businesses so this is a bit disappointing. If you have kids who like to shop there, you may want to supervise them.
