The place is very interesting; The lady who serves is a very kind person and the whole experience is good. The rooms are very well organized and you can enjoy the exhibitions without any problem.

They were very helpful with finding our relatives in old records. They had so many exhibits about the old mines and mccreary county . We loved it

Don't skip past this museum. Nice collection of items and it really fits in with the local train ride. And right across the street is a nice antique shop with a very nice owner. Ask him about the figures made out of coal.
