I called up there 10 times and not one answer! One of the male delivery people knocked over my mailbox and didn’t deliver my package and still didn’t pick up the mailbox or knock on the door to let me know. Was supposed to get my package the next day never ended up getting it and it’s about to be So I doubt I’ll get my package before the holidays. I’ve had multiple issues with this mail service and I don’t know what to do to get them to do better!

Taylorsville, KY USPS has Very Limited hours of operation! No self serve small package bin (see attached photo) to put small packages in for afterhours. I have a small home business and end up having to drive all the way to J-town or Hikes Point just to drop off my large envelopes and small packages in the evening or at night!
My mail carrier also said she does not have room in her van to pick up my packages; so I cannot request home pickup, like I have in all of the other cities I have lived. Other USPS locations are getting the thousands of packages that I ship each year and getting credit for what the Taylorsville USPS should be receiving!
My mail carrier often leaves my packages at my garage and they get wet when it rains...I even have a sign at the garage saying to deliver it to my Front door. When she does put any packages on the porch, it is at the very EDGE of my porch where rain can hit them and it also makes them easier for theft... instead of simply putting them by the front door. Most are very small and weigh very little. So this is just laziness and not caring!
It is Very Frustrating when we have to make a 30-45 minute round-trip just to pick up a relatively small package at the post office. Almost everyone of these could have been easily delivered to our home..often smaller Amazon packages. By the time a normal work day is done, ya'll are closed and only open for a couple of hours on Sat. Ridiculous!!!
Residents need for this location to update their offerings, hire folks who care about providing Good service and who are Physically Capable of doing the job right. They get paid way too much to not care! This USPS Needs to Better Serve the hardworking citizens of this area the way we deserve to be served!!!

If you are someone looking at the reviews because there's a position of regular carrier open DON'T PUT IN FOR THIS POSITION! Pat is one of those post masters you hear horror stories about. I'm giving up the chance of being a regular and retirement to get back to the office I came from. After a week or two the harassment starts where he hounds you.

I went in today, unsure of the most cost effective way to send a package. The staff was so friendly! She helped me figure out the most economical way to ship and was happy to do so. I’ve been in there probably 4 times over the past 6 months and have always encountered staff that exemplified competence and kindness. I’m grateful to have such nice folks in our community.

Taylorsville post office will not answer the phone! I have tried for several days now. I have called more than 12 times in the last 2 days alone and it rings several times and hangs up.

Put in a request for temporary forward mail a month before it was to start. Applied online and at the post office. 14 days after request, mail still being put in our mailbox. Thankful for neighbors who check our mailbox

Workers are nice, but mail goes missing constantly. They've lost two certified letters and two packages in recent months. We get our neighbors mail all the time as well.
