In an area with mostly chain store coffee shops, Black Goose is such a nice spot! No matter who makes your espresso drink it always consistent and good! The staff is all super friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The only downside is that there's very few indoor tables, but any time we've come on a weekday it's never been a problem. It's also a great place to buy small gifts or holiday presents if you're looking to support local businesses. They usually have things like bakery items, beauty items, candles, wax melts, honey, jams, sauces, and many other things all from businesses in Kentucky or Cincinnati.Vegetarian options: They carry vegan gelato in pints and almost always have a vegan cookie or bakery option.

Stopped in to look around after driving by in the past, always when they were closed. It's very quaint and has a lot of I'd say "country chic" items. I didn't try the pastries, but the coffee was yum! Friendly staff, too!

This place has the best coffee around. Australian's, think Melbourne lattes! It's perfectly steamed milk with a perfect espresso shot! So good! I will definitely be there regularly! Lots of GF muffin options if you want a little treatDietary restrictions: They have oat milk, but I didn't pay attention to other milk options. They also had a heap of yummy and moist GF muffins!

This is such a cute coffee shop! Nice and cozy atmosphere with trinkets & gifts to explore. The lavender latte was perfect.

The best coffee you will find in the area. I drive out of my way to get an iced latte from The Black Goose. The people are friendly and welcoming. They also have unique decorative items for sale.

Stopped here to grab a coffee on the way to Big Bone Lick SP. The coffee service is inside the store. A decent variety of drinks available. A little pricy for the size of the drink but these days not outrageous. Friendly service and you can browse the store.Parking: Free parking with a small lot. Whether there is parking available depends on how busy the place is.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and drinks here! I showed up right at 9 when they opened and even then I didn’t have to wait that long for my drink! I did want to get a pastry but unfortunately I was leaving when the person with pastries arrived to stock them! But I’ll come by another time to give my review on those :)I just had a toasted marshmallow latte and it was really good! The place is a bit smaller so there isn’t many seating options but it didn’t feel crowded as I caught up with a friend here! I recommend this place as an option to check out and pick up some cute pieces— I was a big fan of their jewelry selection.

Quaint little shop. Excellent coffee. Would like to see more spacious seating for groups to chat and enjoy the countryside. Bit cramped. Little knickknacks are as expected. Hope it stays in business.

Ok I wasn't expecting much because the photos on Google weren't giving me much and the only reason I gave it a try was because they were the only gift shop open on Sunday. My mom was in town and wanted some souvenirs to take back home. So we gave it a try and I'm so glad we did!! What a great surprise! I've already told my friends about it. It's small but plenty of gift items. Goat milk soap, honey, jelly/jam, grit mixes, home decor, tea towels, Rishi tea, and even a coffee shop. Also, the fake flowers they have are amazing, they look so real. I took images of a bunch of really cute souvenirs type items they have. They also have a lot of resale stuff but think high end. I saw pottery barn kid toys that were used but in great condition . Staff was very friendly and happy to be there and to help.Kid-friendliness: Not toddler friendly. It's small so strollers don't fit and my 3yr old would want to touch all the things that were his height. Lots of breakable stuff.Parking: Plenty of space bc it's such a small place that people are in and out quickly.

Perfect combo of new gifts, antiques and hot drinks. It's extremely rare to find a place that can incorporate all 3 of these in harmony and the black goose nailed it! I'd love to see some low/ no sugar food options.

Great coffee shop in Union! My wife and I love coming here. The owner and staff are so friendly and the gifts/items they have in the store are also top quality. They also serve baked goods from North South Bakery that's in Covington. Highly recommend. Only suggestion would be to expand the indoor seating area :)

We're visiting KY from out of state & we like trying new coffee shops. James was super friendly & helpful with coffee recommendations! We definitely recommended stopping in here.
