Quick and easy checkout. No long lines.

I feel like they keep moving items so you never really learn the location of anything. You need so you wonder around until you find what you need.

I just left a floral department with flowers to plant, and Dean was very helpful and polite. He took his time to make sure I got exactly what I needed. It's great when people are willing to help like that. Thank you so much Dean! Edited: Came back to say thank you to Owen for helping me out and being very patient with me while I tried to get all of my money together to cover my debt. I really appreciate your patience and help.

I want to give a huge shout-out to Austin Dunham at the Kroger in Versailles. Every time he’s on shift, the front of the store runs smoothly—you’re never stuck waiting in long lines because he keeps everything moving. His positive attitude, professionalism, and leadership stand out every single time. Austin is exactly the kind of team leader every store needs—hardworking, kind, and truly dedicate to great customer service. He absolutely deserves recognition (and honestly, a raise!) for all he does. Thank you, Austin, for making grocery shopping a better experience!

I was absolutely disgusted and appalled when I came home to cook my Brussel sprouts and found maggots in most of them, I threw the entire bag away and thought okay this one item, I’ll move on, but then I went to make a salad with my lettuce and there were 2 dead flies in the lettuce! I am so disgusted and this is not the first time something like this has happened. I now refuse to buy any fresh produce from this store and it’s a bummer I now have to drive to Lexington to get my groceries. I have told everyone I know who shops at the Versailles Kroger to be aware

They have good selection and tend to be rather friendly however always check the prices because they will outright scam you. Firstly they know they're the only game in town so prices here are almost always higher than the Krogers in Nicholasville or Lexington. Not to mention on multiple occasions I have went to buy something that has been marked as on sale only for it to ring up as full price. Then the cashier will make you go back to where you got the item, take a picture of the sale tag, and show it to them. Once or twice is an accident but this has happened to me multiple times and those are just the times I caught it. Sure it may only be $1-5 each time but that adds up.

Greeted with a smile when I entered the store. Being from out of town, the employees were very kind in assuring I found what I needed ( I am from Iowa). Some of the items I needed were on sale and noticed they had a QR code, so I scanned and signed up for a card. When I got to the checkout, I was not exactly sure what I needed to do with the savings card and Marta and Chris were exceptional. They helped me get set up to assure I got the discount.
My overall experience was 5 star.

This is NOT about the Kroger store itself. It's about them only in regards to this is where it began. In November 2024 I had a pickup order. The order said they were out of bananas. Before I picked the order up, I went in the store and purchased bananas through the self checkout. I picked my order up afterwards and went home. Later in the day I checked my bank account, as I always do. There were at least half a dozen Kroger charges, same time, date, some exactly the same as the order, some slightly different, and some the same. I called the Kroger and asked what was going on. They had nothing except the legitimate charges in their system. I waited until the charges cleared, then called the bank. Now is where the total breakdown begins from both my bank and Corporate Kroger. The bank decided, after being told repeatedly what charges were legitimate, to unilaterally reverse all charges. Kroger froze my account so I can't do anything except go inside and buy something. I called the bank and asked for them to fix the situation. They said they did and would send a letter. They didn't, so call number 3, they finally did. I had been calling Kroger and asking what I needed to do the whole time. I got the bank letter, called Kroger, after an hour or two, and several people, I was told my account was fixed. It wasn't. I called back. Went through the jumping through hoops again. After several holds and discussions, my account was again fixed. It wasn't. Three more attempts on the same call and finally the representative I was talking to said sometimes it takes a few days to get it in the system. No it doesn't. She said I would have to wait and if it wasn't fixed, to call back. I was very clear because by then I think it was February or March, if she didn't fix my account right then, I was done and would take my business elsewhere. She just told me to wait and call back. I waited, it wasn't fixed, I didn't call back. I did send an email detailing why this whole situation was something I had no control over and they needed to fix my account without me having to be told to call and jump through hoops. I don't work for Kroger. I don't have access to the computer and can't do anything, other than what I had already done. I kept getting the same response of, you call and fix it, not their exact words. So, I don't shop there because I like either doing a pickup, or delivery. They refused to do their job, so I don't matter. I will reiterate that the people who work in the stores have always been wonderful, helpful, and very accommodating. Wonderful employees. Not so for the corporate call in number. I know it's not a big deal to some people. It is to me. I can't tell anyone how someone stole my card # to be able to charge bogus charges. There's nothing I could think of to do, other than I would have asked the person who brought my pickup order if they would go bring me some bananas.

Very nice and clean Kroger. Generally no problems. But the bistro and deli is understaffed (at least today). Waited 10 minutes and no one acknowledged or served me. There was one worker who was slicing up meats. Dozens of staff walked by and no help. Very disappointing and unfriendly. Not good for someone who wants to come on limited lunch time and get a quick hot bite.

Julie that works at the Uscan in Versailles Kentucky is rude and horrible. I feel bad for this company that she represents them. Very sad to have such a mean person at the front.

The best Kroger in the land. Every day I will say that. The fruit is always fresh, the food is good to purchase and eat, and everything about this place just works. The deli has great meats and cheese, the cheese shop expands on that even more. The bakery is solid, 2 sets of restrooms in the store, a Starbucks, seafood, pharmacy, literal clinic! There is a ton of stuff here! You can get everything you need here and more. Very comparable to Meijer, but with a little bit more. I love this place and always glad to call it my home Kroger!

Bought cake and cupcakes for the Super Bowl here and they were decorated somewhat sloppily (but I was short on time) so I bought them anyway. They tasted so bad that no one at our party would eat any of it, myself included. Bakery needs major help.
