HUGE thank you to Craig and his crew at The Bug Doctor in Versailles, Kentucky ! Thanks to the help of these guys we were able to trouble shoot Harvey’s issues and get me back on the road to Florida. Broke down last night on my journey back to Florida and couldn’t get him back up so I was towed here, camped over night, and prayed they would be willing to help. Incredibly grateful to have been recommended to this shop by someone in my VW group because the whole block of shops/ people were nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend this shop if you live in the area , and they do more than Volkswagens too ! The love of the Volkswagen family is so strong 💙

they are wonderful people! & after going to multiple different mechanics who have done me wrong, this place was a breath of fresh air and peace of mind! if youre looking for a mechanic you can trust thats fairly priced, these are your people! they were so kind and could tell i had been through the ringer and had been taken advantage of the fact of my little car knowledge… i was able to drive out of their with confidence, knowing my vehicle was safe to drive… and being a single mother of 3 small littles… their safety is priceless!! im for sure a returning customer, and have also converted my mother to their business as well!

Our 2012 VW Passat was running terrible. After taking to several repair shops, we found the Bug Doc. They immediately found a damaged wire that fixed the problem. We are now planning to use them for additional repairs.Great shop and personal

Grateful I gave Bug Doc a try. I live on the west coast and needed a local mechanic to work on a Lexus GX470 SUV I purchased while in town visiting family. Bug Doc was able to fit me in. Service received was high quality and honest.They did great work! Mechanic Ethan found the small details that needed attention, little things throughout the car's engine and suspension that could go very bad very fast if left unaddressed. He even noted a screw thread that'd stripped on a critical engine component buried deep in the car. He replaced the whole component right away because it was the only way to fix it right, no short cuts. My kind of mechanic!He was able to take on my long list of repairs and he adapted as the list grew - a thorough top-down inspection, suspension repair and lift, engine timing belt service, radiator repair, oil pump replacement, driveshaft service, undercarriage protectant application, oil change, to name a few work items. He explained his work thoroughly over several phone calls throughout his multi-day repairs, and he talked me out of an eye-wateringly expensive bogus repair the Lexus dealership wanted to do. Ethan's my hero.Prices were fair, not cheap, but I paid for quality work and honest service and got both, a rare thing. Turn around time was a few weeks. Receptionist Paula was a gem. She kept me up-to-date on the repair status all along. She also arranged payment options when I was out of town and sent me photos of receipts and records electronically. Final timeline and price were both more than quoted, but the quality is definitely there. I would work with Ethan and Paula again, and recommend Bug Doc to my Versailles family if they can tolerate some flexibility in their calendar.Might you both come home with me?

Needed brake pads changed. I feel brake pads are pretty universal for all cars but definitely overpriced for the fix, probably cheaper to learn how to fix it myself. It is a friendly staff but the price for my vw was pretty high.Service: Brakes
