The burgers we ordered were 'meh'. In the past, we've ordered different sandwiches that were very tasty. It's definitely worth visiting!

I got the fried catfish with a side of fried pickles. The catfish was tasty, but the portion was small. 3 small pieces of catfish buried under fries. The pickles were salty, and I couldn’t finish them

Stopped here on the way out of town after flying into LEX airport. It’s really a quaint setting with great service, good prices, and good food. We tried the original burger, fried chicken sandwich, hot brown, and turkey sandwich. Everyone was satisfied with the food, but no one was wowed.Wallace station is worth a stop in if you’re in the area.

Fabulous place to eat! Food is amazing and the only downside is seating availability, even if you get there early. When the weather is nice, there's a whole patio, but in cooler temps, tables inside are scarce. We had to get our food to go because all the tables were full at 11:20am.

Worth the (beautiful) drive out of Lexington! Everything here is great, some of the best sandwiches around. Highly recommend the cubano, tuna melt, and burgers, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Big portions and quality ingredients. The restaurant itself is small and usually quite crowded (as it should be!), but the service is always friendly. Most of the seating is outside, so make the time to stop by on a nice day. I don't live too far away so I frequently order online for carry-out. Check out the items from Midway Bakery too, the corn cookies and sorghum cookies are wonderful!

I just had the best Cubano sandwich of my life. This place is genuine SOUTHERN. Sorghum sugar cookie, pulled pork Cubano sandwich & sweet tea the way it is supposed to be. Bourbon cooked into special plates... Outdoor dining, indoor dining, and a strong sense of history. E. H. Taylor and Elijah Craig would eat here if they could.Update 2/24/24: Merv's Ham Jalapeño sandwich is amazing.

Title: Disappointing Service and Dining Experience at Wallace Station Review: My recent visit to Wallace Station left much to be desired. From the lack of an allergy-friendly menu, leaving my friends unable to order anything, to encountering a cashier with zero knowledge about their cooking oils and a disinterested attitude, the experience was off to a rocky start. What's more, the expectation of tipping at a cafeteria-style establishment felt out of place and unnecessary. Things took a turn for the worse when my burger, which already looked unappetizing, was carelessly dropped onto my hands by the food runner. It was as if basic courtesy was an afterthought. Overhearing comments about tips from the kitchen staff only added to the frustration. The entire atmosphere seemed to exude entitlement, with little regard for basic hygiene or customer satisfaction. Greasy tables, sticky floors, and subpar food presentation further contributed to the disappointment. The taste of the food mirrored the lack of care in its preparation. It was akin to something hastily thrown together by a friend with the munchies, far from the quality one would expect from a dining establishment. Even a visit to a fast-food chain like McDonald's would have been preferable. Additionally, I'm not a liberal but the overtly political sauce for sale was off-putting, potentially alienating a portion of their customer base. Despite expressing that it was my first visit, the cashier showed no interest in providing good service or ensuring a positive experience that might encourage a return visit. Overall, Wallace Station fell short of its reputation and left me questioning its appeal. Unless significant improvements are made, I cannot recommend this place to others.

I had the Wallace Cubano, and my husband had the big brown burger. They were amazing!! Normally I don't like sweet pickles but they were phenomenal on the Cubano. We also got dessert to go, had the chocolate bourbon pecan pie and some vanilla bean crank and boom ice cream with it. So good!! If you haven't been here yet you absolutely need to go!

We love out of the way places and this was a wonderful stop! The big brown burger was super good. You know it's a good burger when the drippings run down your hand with every bite. Service was quick. Ambiance was perfect. We enjoyed the trip. And don't miss the baked goods up front. The Woodford cookie is a can't miss!!!

Wallace Station definitely needs to be on your list - especially if you are touring the Bluegrass The food is amazing with locally sourced items. If you are visiting try the inside out Hot Brown. That is a true taste of Kentucky. The bakery items come from the Midway Bakery just up the road. This is where all the locals eat.

It is a wonderful place! I was not expecting hot aoli on my turkey sandwich. But once I took it off it was great!
