On January 9, 2025, Amerigas delivery driver Jarred refilled our propane tank. On his way up the driveway, he drove off the edge of the driveway and ran into a landscape light post, leaving it crooked and a big wheel rut in the ground. He got out of his truck, took some pictures, and said that someone from Amerigas would be back out to take care of it. We waited, and no one from Amerigas reached out or came out to our home. From the wheel rut left from the Amerigas truck we started getting a steady stream of water that turned out to be from our septic drain field. This water crossed our driveway and created a safety hazard as it would continuously run and freeze, creating a thick layer of ice across the bottom of our steep driveway and eventually into the road, creating a hazard for other drivers as well.
Having heard nothing from Amerigas, we called Amerigas about the issue on January 30, 2025. The representative took notes about the situation during the 34 minute phone call and promised someone would reach back out about a resolution. No one ever did.
Not having heard back, we sent a request through the Amerigas online contact form for someone to address this issue and have not heard back.
It has now been 7 months since the damage occurred and there has been no attempt at resolution from Amerigas. Meanwhile the effects of the damage have gotten worse, as the septic drainage stream has increased, creating not just a safety hazard in winter conditions, but a health hazard to my family and to cyclists on the road and to park goers across the street, as the septic stream now reaches the grass at the park.

The install and service technicians were awesome. Five stars
My only complaint is the gauge you use to monitor the quantity of gas left in the tank. It seems very primitive in this post digital age. The gauge has a small read face, located in a spot that causes parallax errors and with the 10% increment resolution gives it an accuracy of +/- 10% of reading.

Their prices for fuel are too high, their chatter got tank rental is too high and most of all why I’m leaving them is their customer service us in another country that I cannot understand a word being spoken. I’ve been a loyal customer 30+ years, I’ve had enough.

The driver was super cautious with all the rain we've been having. He even gave my dogs treats, so they now love AmeriGas as well.

So much for the pre-buy program. Their invoices are confusing and they don't apply the pre-buy credit to the invoices showing a balance which causes confusion. I confirmed with them FOUR TIMES that our pre-buy credit would be applied to our balance because it was not reflected on our invoice. FOUR TIMES!! Now I'm receiving a past-due balance notice. This is really frustrating and forcing cancellation consideration.

In the past they have delivered gas without my permission, also have states that I can pay by the month and then told me I couldn't do that, and then once I was able to pay monthly the bill amount was changed and was told a couple of reasons why and then someone else tells me something different. Also, the amount was above what could afford and there was no reason for it. Now, on the website there is a blocking page that will not let you get on the website to search anything unless you agree to new conditions. One of these is if you have anything done or service, you are automatically agreeing to a new three year contract. This is been very stressful having an account with them. I will never deal with them ever again.

Customer service from the call centers is atrocious. They sound like scam call centers, and don't speak English. In fact, because of all the noise, you can't understand what little English they do speak. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is the delivery team. He's great!

Friendly delivery however the yearly charge to use your product(propane) I feel shouldn’t be necessary! The tank has been repainted by me due because it needed it. Big eye sore since the day it was delivered. I believe your customer should be able to purchase your used tank at a reasonable price!
