My experience with motel 6 in Richwood Ky. It is lousy motel it took me 5 days to get a pair of sheets. The day time management is really awful. We have been in this motel 6 since January 22nd ever since my house burnt down at 1;45 am .the first room we were in it flooded 2 times with gray water from the room right over us.and it was dirty toilet water cleaned that up ,then the 2nd time it flooded so bad it came out into the main area so they transfered up to another room had to bring it to their attention that our toilet was leaking we were told it wasn't that bad so they done nothing about that, then the day help I informed them that the refrigerator wasn't cooling and the day management told me he would be there in an hour, that has been 2 months still did not due anything about that. The rent here is 1030.00 every 14 days I will never ever stay here again. The day shift the girls are under paid and over worked. There are multiple floor and just 2 housekeeper for this place

I was hesitant because of some of the reviews. Was dealing with a breakdown issue at the Freightliner next door. Finally, came over here and was glad that I did! I didnât take photos before I laid all of my things out. But there are no worries about staying here.

I had a great stay. Room was clean, elevator works. The room smelled a bit like smoke, but that was probably the earlier guests. The check out process was a bit confusing, just a box at the front desk for you to put your card keys into. Otherwise, loved it.

This place runs a scam on deposits in addition to the room fee. After you pay online, when you arrive to check in, they tell you there's an additional $50 deposit required. They told me it would be fully refunded upon check out, unless you damage the room. We stayed there 3 nights and only received one reimbursement after I had to speak with the front desk clerk about it multiple times. Amanda was extremely rude and almost hostile. We are still waiting for our reimbursements. It's a scam, beware. They advertise great rates, but then also you with the additional $50 charge upon arrival - you end up paying $140/night for a hotel out in the sticks with no amenities. Motel 6 is false advertising at it's finest.

Stayed one night while making our way north. The room was clean enough, the grounds were quiet considering it was late and night, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

We've stayed here several times and it's always super clean and fairly quiet. The king sized rooms are massive and the beds are super comfortable. Friendly staff. Prices are usually lower than most.

I'll stay here again. Convenient location just south of Cincinnati. Typical motel 6 room. Clean. Affordable. Minor issues in the room from wear and tear. ONE BIG ISSUE: the deadbolt and security locks on our door did not work properly. Obvious signs of abuse on the door jam that prevented the deadbolt from engaging without a lot of effort. The latch on the security lock (think chain) was broken and did not work at all. Making guests feel safe is critical. These door locks didn't cut it. We stayed in what was obviously a pet room. We have a dog. The arms on the chair had damage. We didn't care. We don't use the chair. We slept well. Had Dominos pizza for dinner. It's in the parking lot so it's hot and convenient. A few issues, but we will stay here again after checking the locks before we bring our stuff in. AC was cold. Mini fridge worked. Affordable lodging on a two day trip.

I would like to say this is the second time Iâve stayed in a motel 6 once in Ohio and now in Walton. They are clean rooms, very spacious, the bed was a king size, very firm, pillows were great and comfortable. I love no carpets too! Clean floors!!!!
We took a shower my only issue here is invest in bigger towels they are rather small the body towels are too tiny. Along with shampoo and conditioner, usually this is an essential. I do not carry with me because itâs offered at every hotel.
We cancelled our hotel last night in Nashville after our World cup Soccer game and drove straight to Cincinnati to catch our game here.
The reason of staying here at Motel 6 which is right off the highway so for sleeping we slept well out like a light. Two gas stations near by one across from each other so if you forget something head there both walking distance if you do not want to drive. Staff person at night very friendly employee along with the morning crew. The price point $50 is great as well.

My sister and I rented a handicapped room for my elderly mother, the shower head is not removable. So if you have to bathe the person in need of the âroll in showerâ canât rinse off their bottom. I had to take a cup and rinse off my motherâs bottom. The threshold to the bathroom has a 1â to a 1â and a half lip that every time my mother needed to be pushed into the restroom we had to rock over the bump. At one time I thought she was going to fall out of her wheelchair. Then the shower has a 2â step. How is this a roll in shower? My mother has onset dementia. Has had 2 minor strokes and has very limited motion. The ice machine is out of order. Very limited for an aging lady. Very poor quality for a âhandicapped, roll in showerâ. I am very disappointed that every time my mother needs to use the facilities we have to fight the threshold. I have to load my elderly mother in my car at 9:58pm to pay for cups of ice from Burger King. Another inconvenience. If youâre looking for a relaxing place to stay. Keep driving past this place. This is not it. đ the room is in Jamie Campbellâs name. If youâd like to do something to fix any of these disappointing accommodations.

So where to begin?
The room was âokâ the cars and everything in here is busted. Like the towels are rough and scratchy and are so small itâs like theyâre big enough for a 4 year old. You can get an idea for the rest by the pics. No vent fan in bathroom. The bathroom door needs force to close. Pillows are 1000 years old and have NO support so expect a hurting back.
I would not recommend staying unless your in and out but not for extended stay not worth itâŚ.
Iâll add the staff was nice, but thatâs all thatâs good here. Should have given a discount though for the room. Especially with a busted bathroom door that requires force to close and open.
