“J&S Tire Service (formerly Ray's Tires) was my hero today! As I was driving to Warsaw for work from out of town, my tire pressure light came on. Two of my tires looked like they could be going flat. The family who owns J&S were so kind. I was waiting outside when they arrived to open the shop, and they immediately hoisted my car up to take off the two tires to inspect them. They put air in them but didn't find any holes or tears. They wouldn't even charge for their time and service because there wasn't an identifiable problem! They put me back on the road in great shape with the tire light off. Please support this family-owned business. This is true customer service!”

“I was coming back to Illinois from picking up a load in Cincinnati OH with my old 99 Dodge Ram 3500. I heard a sound under my hood shortly after I lost charge on my gauge and my temp spiked. The belt tensioner ended up shearing off flush at the mounting point while the tensioner wound up somewhere off 71 South. I limped off 71 south where I was lucky enough to find a decent motel and after many phone calls I reached Scott. He offered me two choices. First was to tow my truck and the trailer with the load 275 miles home to Illinois for a remarkable rate. The second was to come pick up the truck and trailer back to his shop the next morning. I decided to head to his shop in the morning. The truck was repaired quickly and I was able to get home under my own power that same evening. They even took the time to help me with repositioning my load. Excellent service and outstanding professionalism. Scott, Laura, and the whole team at Scott’s garage were very professional down to earth folks. If you are in the area and looking for a mechanic or just a simple tow I recommend them for any size job.”

“I've been taking my vehicles to this shop for years. Cody is an honest and reliable guy who does great work. And he stands by his work. He gives you a time frame on when he will get to your vehicle and keeps in touch with you while he has it. He fixes what you take it to him for and doesn't try to find other things to run the bill up like most mechanics will. He's also very reasonable in labor prices. I love that we have someone local to work on our vehicles. I would much rather wait a couple of days to get in with him than I would taking them anywhere else to get worked on sooner. If you're passing through and you find yourself with vehicle trouble, you'll be in great hands reaching out to him! His shop sits back off of the road, down a private driveway.”

“Looked for a driveshaft for a buddies truck for 4days, got word to go to Jay's and on the 5th day we arrived talked with Jay for about 5 minutes and he told us where to go and take a look. The first on we picked out was the one that we had drove more than 400 miles for and 4 days of many hrs of hard work,and no one had the right one until we went to Jay's, the price was great and my buddy is driving his truck once again with no issues.
