Really great emergency vet services over the weekend. The staff was extremely attentive, kind, and understanding. They're open fairly late as well which is great for an after hours medical problem.Be prepared to wait on the weekend as they're not as fully staffed as during the week.Really appreciated everything they did for us!

Somebody brought their pet in on Saturday, the owner was obviously stressed and overwhelmed and the staff at the counter were giving her the side eye, seemed like they weren’t very empathetic. The rest of the staff is great

We brought our cat, Taco, in to emergency due to a severe URI and a bad reaction or the oral meds our primary vet gave us. (No fault to them, he was just not in condition to take oral meds). We gave him the meds & he instantly started foaming at the mouth. I was inconsolable. Screaming & sobbing. My boyfriend looked for an ER in the area and found this place. I am BEYOND grateful to these workers for coming into work that day and being there for me and my fur baby in our time of need. They handled everything with care & compassion. There was a critical patient before us, but they still made sure Taco was stable before leaving us to wait. Turns out he just couldn’t breathe and inhaled the oral meds. They didn’t make us feel like we overreacted and were transparent with us about pricing and treatment options. I thought the pricing for the services we received was very fair.Due to the other critical patient, we waited 2 hours before Taco was seen. Which we were totally fine with (still sooner than waiting for our primary to open), but they still checked on us every now and again and brought us waters during our wait. Thank you once again to this kind, caring, and compassionate staff.Remember, having a pet is a privilege not a right. These people don’t have to show up and work these late hours of the night, but they do so because they care. Remember that next time you & your fur baby are in need.

GCVS isn’t our primary vet, but we come here to treat my senior’s cat Heart Condition only. Our Primary vet recommended GCVS.The vet techs are great with my perpetually-angry senior cat who hates being touched! They are gentle and patient with her in order to get what they need for her medical tests!!I do wish the veterinarians spent a bit more time in the exam room with owners going over test results and treatment plans for moving forward after medical assessments are done.I am grateful that they were able to suggest a (new to me) pharmacy that offer a variety of medication types (liquids, pills, powders, etc) to help me sneak medication into my cat’s food!

Over priced, over priced, over priced. After I refused a few items my bill went down just over 600 for 2xrays and 2 not needed prescriptions. Dog swallowed a chicken bone and they wanted to convince us $3800 was 2 or 3 times cheaper than anywhere else and they could remove it for that amount. They really swung for the moon with us. Hope your visit is better but beware!

After reading mixed reviews here, I just did not have a bad experience at all. I have dealt with Dr Campbell twice, with 2 different dogs in the past 3 months....while I did loose my Staffy Khaos in November to Cancer which was unknown and it was too late to save him, she was very compassionate, patient, explained everything in detail, step by step, gave me all the time in the world to spend with him...Then I ended up back there a couple months later with my new Cane Corso puppy (7 weeks old) Apollo, that I only had for 2 days who was dealing with parasites and who tested positive for Parvo....she saved my baby boys life...He was in her care for 5 days and made a full recovery....and again was patient, quick thinking, double checked, sympathetic, compassionate...kept me updated daily.....I also had the pleasure of having Dr Hogan for a couple of days when Dr Campbell was not there....same experience with her...oh and I can't forget all the vet tech's....I spoke with so many but all were great....Baffa, Tyler, Pam, to name a few....Katie at the front desk was quick to accommodate me as well....I cannot name them all but I hope they all know how grateful I really am for taking care of Apollo....it def was a team effort...and everyone exceeded my expectations...Apollo has been home for 2 days and is doing wonderful...takes his meds, eats lots of food, drinking his water, keeping warm, playful and is really very happy pup considering what he went through the first couple months of his life....I have trusted this team from the beginning and would trust this team to the fullest in the future....Thank you all❤️

Brought our dog in due to an emergency. They was quick to see her and treat. Had to leave her over night and when we came to see her in the morning she was back to herself. Will recommend this place to others.

If I could give zero stars I would. But in a bind you go to the closest place to save your animals life. New Years Day we rushed to the Wilder Greater Cincinnati emergency hospital after my dachshund jumped off the couch rolled to his back and suffered a deadly spinal injury. We waited for two hours while they had our dog in the back and pumped him full of pain medication and returned him saying he had a torn ACL (CCL in dogs) The doctor was completely unknowledgeable and should not be diagnosing or treating emergency situations as my dog has to be put down tomorrow due to this spinal injury that was incorrectly diagnosed. Two separate vets are appalled at this diagnosis and feel bad that these are the options that are available for emergency care for our fur babies. Do yourself and your family a favor and drive right past this location to the next option. Or you might end up spending $600 for a wrong diagnosis and losing your pet like our family. Pic of my boy, because he deserved better.

I had to bring my dog Cedric in because he had hurt his leg somehow and GC Vet was the only place I could get in on Christmas weekend. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I am very thankful they were there and took good care of him.

This place is an absolute joke. I usually go to MedVet, however, my dog was having breathing issues so I took him to GCVS because it's closer. INSTEAD OF TAKING HIM TO THE BACK AND PUTTING HIM ON OXYGEN...THEY LEFT HIM IN THE ROOM WITH ME TO WAIT!! I'm a veterinarian technician as well. I know what respiratory distress looks like and that it requires OXYGEN. I kept telling them, "This is my dog, I'm paying the bill, PUT HIM ON OXYGEN. The "nurses" if you want to call them that (clearly uneducated) said he was stable. After repeatedly telling them to put my dog on Oxygen...they then came in and said they don't have a place to put him or the staff to hold oxygen to his face. MY MIND IS BLOWN AT THIS POINT! SO YOU LIED BECAUSE YOU DIDNT WANT TO JUST TELL ME THE TRUTH?!! I WAITED HERE WHEN I COULD HAVE GONE TO AN ACTUAL HOSPITAL.I IMMEDIATELY left and went to MEDVET. They took him back right away, started oxygen and admitted him for pneumonia and lung disease.I would absolutely NOT recommend bringing your pet here...for anything. Highly incompetent staff who need to be educated on emergency situations. I'm embarrassed for this facility.

Very nice place. We had a cat that was seemingly constipated and nauseous, very worried. They were professional and attentive. Very understanding about costs and clearly explain why they recommended what they did and gave us clear priorities in their expert opinion. Very knowledgeable and we learned a lot from them.Honestly prices were very reasonable especially compared to other emergency clinics.
