The entire staff from the ladies at the desk to the ones handling my of are always a delight. I love how well they are with my dog. He's a chihuahua mix, so he can get nippy. The staff know exactly how to talk to him and touch him so he isn't stressed. He is now at home recovering!”

The front desk is great and takes care of business quickly , especially Emily , she is the best - she definitely goes the extra mile !!! “First wellness visit to Erlanger Veterinary Hospital with 2 of our 3 dogs. We decided to switch from our previous vet because it was tough getting a same day appointment(solo practitioner) when one of the 3 needed a sick visit. We saw Dr Porter at Erlanger VC and were so happy with her attention to detail. She listened to my concerns about my 2 senior pups. The 2 vet techs were great, Kya and Brian, and were kind and attentive. Since our appointment last week, I have spoken 2 times on the phone with Dr Porter in follow up to new meds and abnormal lab results and have another appointment scheduled this week for further testing. We will definitely go back to EVC. Our 3rd one is due in March for her wellness visit and will also be seen there.”

“My dog Sadie was very old and not doing well. I came in thinking the only option was to put her down, but they gave me medication that truly brought her back to the loving dog I remembered. It gave me two amazing extra weeks with her before the meds could no longer help.
When it was time, I brought her back, and they were incredibly understanding and got me in right away. They walked me through everything ahead of time so I wouldn’t have to worry about anything in the moment. They took such great care of her in her final moments.
Afterward, as my family and I were leaving, they gave me a small vial with her hair in it. That was such a heartfelt touch. Then, a week later, I received a card in the mail with messages from the entire staff. It meant so much to us.

“For Dr obert I always give a 5 ⭐ because he's awesome and great with animals. No matter what I bring my animals in for he's always great. This visit I brought them in for their annual exam and shots. He's very knowledgeable and doesn't make you feel rushed, he makes sure before you leave all your questions are answered, absolutely love him and feel so much more comfortable when I bring my dogs to see him. My dogs get very nervous going to the vet and because he gets down with the animals he somehow puts them at ease.”

“My family cannot thank the staff of Monfort Heights Animal Clinic enough for the high quality of care and compassion they demonstrated towards our miniature schnauzer when she was suffering from kidney failure. She stayed overnight for three nights receiving round the clock attention in order to try and save her. It was an absolutely awful experience to have to decide to put her to sleep but Doc McBride and the vet technicians (Dora chief among them) treated us with respect and empathy. I'll never forget after she was gone and they had to remove the IV, they still gently wrapped her little leg in red gauze. That kind of attention to detail mattered so much at one of our lowest and most heart wrenching moments. Thank you Monfort Heights Animal Clinic! They have earned our business and trust for many years to come with future dogs.”

“We unfortunately had to put our 8 year old border collie to rest yesterday.
But Dr kuether did an amazing job with her, and helped us get through a hard moment . Made our girl feel at ease with what was coming.
At one point he even sat with her and rubbed her back at the end. He helped transport her so we didn’t have too- that took a lot of weight off our shoulders. It’s never easy putting your family members at ease.
But the doc did an amazing job and I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone.
He also did a great with our testy lab shepherd who was here to say goodbye to her sister during it.”

I finally found Plum Street and won’t trust anyone else with my cats, their care for people and their animals is unmatched. As soon as you walk in, Leanne knows who they are caring for and gets you into a room. Dr. Bob spends a great deal of care in getting to know what the problem is with your animal and giving you several opinions or options of what the problem might be and what can be done. Before Plum St Vet Clinic, I felt most vets I brought my cat to didn’t really care to look deeper into my cats issues. We are so grateful for Leanne and Dr. Bob and all the great work they do!”
“Dr. Schoeck provided excellent care for my pup when she started showing signs of a UTI. When the symptoms started, I called around to different vets because we weren’t near my home vet and they were able to get me in the same day for a reasonable price (especially compared to ER vets). Dr. Schoeck is very informative, caring, and thorough. Will be coming back here in the future for my pups medical needs.”

“I have had many special needs pets in my life time and some that required multiple surgeries, therapist, and significant ongoing consultation to maintain a good quality of life. In recent years sometimes it feels like some clinics treat pets more like a number than an individual. This was totally the opposite with our recent surgery consult with Dr. Hodge. She reviewed everything about our beagle's history and considered her as an individual and made conservative recommendations that were the best advice ever for us and our pet and led to a great outcome for our pup and our family. We visited initially for a second opinion. Dr. Hodge will be our primary go to surgeon going forward; she is hands down the best!!
