Hope things have changed.. I was a member back in the 90s I know it's been a long time.I joined payed my membership in full I was told I was a owner because my membership dues helped pay the property taxes was also told the procedes of the farming on site was to be paid to the members in the form of a check when the hay roll bails where sold I never got a check.if anyone can update me on this I sure would like to know what this was about I had Heard that some people got into trouble over this back then i thought maybe it was to boost membership perks.. otherwise it's a great place.

The best shooting ranges that I've seen. The staff are all friendly, helpful, and like family. If you're wanting a first rate place to shoot pistols, eifles, or shotguns, I highly recommend a BGSL membership. You won't be disappointed

I attended the GSSF Bluegrass Regional Classic Glock outdoor pistol match there and it was great as it was in previous years.

I love the Wilmore range and take EVERYBODY I can!! Suggest everybody else to go out as well. The company itself deserves 5 stars, unfortunately there’s certain people over certain areas out there that greatly reduce the quality. For over 6 months I paid for a service that I was denied access to and when I inquired I was told to pay more money and he’d be happy to send me what I had previously already paid for. To much to go into here but be careful when joining certain leagues, to clarify. He knew there was an issue but chose to ignore it until us members contacted him. Unprofessional in my opinion but I’m just an idiot on the internet Lol

Went here for a practice round b4 tournament. Wasn't impressed at all. Course was decent but alot of the throwers were out of clays. Sum didn't work. When we called to get clays put in they said we will get on it. We'll they did when we got to stand 15. The last stand of the course. This is the reason for 3 stars only on this place. Elk creek sporting clays is a much better choice for shooting in my opinion. Plus they have a winery to boot

We love the Sportsmans League! We are there multiple times a week, taking advantage of the pistol pits, general purpose range and many shooting matches that are hosted. You must be a member to take advantage of the pits, but the price is well worth our use of it and the mandatory safety training is invaluable. We first learned of the league through a firearms safety instructor (Natbo Firearms Training - also 5 stars, btw) before we bought our first firearm and fell in love with the grounds and the sport right then. They also offer clubhouse rental, camping, rifle ranges, archery ranges and air soft ranges.

This is a great club and holds a lot of great matches. If I lived closer I would join this club, instead I’ve been attending their matches since 2008.

Me and some friends were looking for a nice outdoor range relatively close to Lexington, and this is definitely the best. Large beautiful property with plenty to do aside from shooting as well. Definitely worth the membership and I recommend it to all my friends.

You won’t find many places like this in Central Kentucky. (Almost) whatever firearm you choose to practice with, there’s a place for you. Not to mention fishing, official competitions, a long range (test required for approval), some hiking, and more. There are more than 1500 acres here for you to explore your sporting activity of choice safely. Annual memberships are very reasonably priced.

Nice place if you live in the area because they have everything down there and hundreds of acres of land to shoot.

Really neat facility with a lot to offer. We went to shoot clays. Very friendly and helpful lady took care of us. We were set up with a gun, shells, and sent out. I will say there is a lot of assumption handing this out. We had shot before and we’re familiar with gun safety but had we not been it might have been boarder line dangerous for everyone there. It’s all posted. If you’ve not shot seriously do review it. Because you’re out there alone aside from others down the way. You need to be safe. The stations were fun to shoot at. Nice variety. I’d definitely go back.
