Fitch’s IGA Grocery is a lovely place and a true Mayberry experience, considered a Jessamine County gem. The owner still works at the counter, and it is still run by the family. The place hasn't changed since the 50s, providing a comforting part of childhood that still survives in an ever-changing world. It is a great little place with excellent quality meats and good meat prices. The deli offers a great burger with a huge amount of fries, along with sandwiches and lunch, with a couple of different places to dine in. They also sell some cool local products. The business was even featured on the show WWYD for its integrity. It is a favorite grocer where many pray it never sells out.
Local milk, pork grown by the owners, local lamb meat, local ice cream and butter - plus all your other staples (the store is deceptively huge). I even caught a bluegrass band playing here! Love it. Such kind folks too! Highly recommended
