It's always a fun experience to visit the strawberry patch! The strawberries were big, kids had lots of fun. If you're looking for something fun for the family and kids, try Mrs. Heather's Strawberry Patch ???

Fourth grade field trip and loving it. Short road trip from Nola, totally worth it! Well maintained strawberry farm that provided hours of entertainment for the students. Premium berries for picking and additional for purchase. The chocolate covered strawberries are a must have treat for the ride back.

So much fun!!!!! We have been to another large strawberry patch in the past and everything was very controlled and timed. You couldn't enjoy it. Mrs Heather's makes you feel like you are at your family's farm and it is yours to explore. The kids loved it so much and so did we. They were able to play and pick strawberries at their own pace. We will be back for sure❤??

Myself, my mom and my two daughters went and were not impressed at all. It has definitely changed a lot since I had been there a few years ago. There were over three hundred public school kids there on a field trip so my youngest got a $10 bucket and picked it and then I purchased a flat (already picked) and my mom got a half flat (already picked too). The strawberries looked good in the bright sun but once I got home that afternoon and stared taking them out of the box they were rotten. The top layer was the only good ones in the box. My moms half flat was the same way. I tried calling but no answer. I tried emailing with pics but still no answer. I even sent a message of Facebook messenger with pics. No answer! I drive 40 minutes there and 40 minutes home and between my mom and myself with spent $55 and got rotten strawberries. Sad how they won’t respond. Maybe they will read this. My family won’t be back.

I went to Mrs. Heather's strawberry farm this past weekend and had a good time. I took my nieces and nephew. The prices were reasonable. When you walk in you're asked which container you'd like for your strawberries. The bigger the container, the more you pay. Picking our own strawberries was a fun experience. There were little attractions and playground equipment for smaller kids. There were some calves for the kids to pet too. There offered food items to buy. They served jam, water, smoothies, and chocolate covered strawberries. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is that I wish this place served more food. We had a pretty long ride to and from New Orleans so it would've been nice to be able to get some snacks to hold us over.

I was very curious about this place after I saw some pics online and I thought my little guy ( his 2) would enjoy picking strawberries. I went on their website and noticed you couldn't book a time slot- so I guess you just show up. The drive is about an hour a way or so depending on traffic . There are 2 parking lots - 1 right by the strawberry farm and one slightly further away that requires you to walk on a small muddy path ( yes thank goodness for rain boots). Upon entering I noticed there were no mask policy. The young ladies taking your cash upfront had no masks on either. I didn't see a credit card machine- so thank goodness I had some cash. They have small buckets for $10 and slightly bigger ones for $15. They also have double crates for $20 I think. We decided on a big bucket and ahead we went to pick strawberries. Even though it was pretty full- I don't think I crossed paths with loads of people while picking. There are loads of strawberry patches to choose from. However. Finding really good ones can take a while. Lots of bending and looking. Also after a big rain storm- the strawberries might have bruised a lot. They have a really cute kids play area but it's completely unusable after a storm. Sadly! However they have like an open barn with kids tractors and things which my little guy loved. The toilets are clean but only one toilet has a door. The other curtain? Which is very impractical especially as the wind blows it open. Like hello world- see my do my business. Not sure why they wouldn't just add a door. They also have a little shop we get you can buy strawberries ( already picked) , jam. Strawberry short cake and strawberry smoothie. They also have little picnic tables. While it was a nice activity - its not so great going after it rained a lot. Picture walking on very very large muddy puddles. Also the strawberries - well the good ones are better hard to find. Maybe we will try again when the weather gets better and then at least my little guy can enjoy the play area too.

Never again... Waited in traffic an hour and a half to overpay to wait in line 30 minutes to use a bathroom. Just thought it was bad till I saw the line of traffic to get there when we were on our way out. Crazy anybody could say they enjoyed this place.

You need to visit this strawberry patch. Louisiana strawberries are at the top of the game for starters. The secondary reasons are all pretty much tied: support for local business, getting your kids outdoors, rewarding your hard work with the best berries on the planet and family activities without electronics.
