My husband needed a wheelchair and these men at Apria in Alexandria went out of their way to help. The professionalism and kindness they showed was exceptional. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart!

I've been using apria in Alexandria for 3 years now, every time my oxygen has messed up they are there that day to fix or replace. I call the local office and my supplies are here within the week if I need them. Anytime I call the local office, I'm met with a human promptly and they handle anything I need. Good reliable company for your oxygen needs.

Just read the other comments. Worst..medical supply..company..ever. Never followed up on my supplies. After a year of me trying to order supplies and them telling me they needed a follow up from my dr. They tried to repossess my machine. The machine that keeps me alive. I went back to my ENT 3 times to try and resolve the issue. 3 times my dr faxed them the required information. My drs office can even tell me the excact date and time when the faxes were sent. However, every time I called, APRIA told me they never recieved the information. After a year, APRIA sent me a letter informing me that I now owned the machine and was responsible for its upkeep. This letter arrived 2 days before a man showed up at my house to take the machine back. I showed him the letter. He was dumbfounded. He contacted his supervisor who told him on speakerphone to just leave the machine because there had to have been a mistake and that she had no faith in the employees that initially handled my order. Ever month, I still get a nasty letter from APRIA saying they are coming to get my machine. I am fully disabled with a terminal condition, with full medicare/caid. I WILL die without this machine helping me breathe at night. Now it looks as if my only hope for a resolution is to schedule yet another sleep study, (my 4th in 10 years), and start this entire process over with another medical supply company. All it would have taken was for someone at APRIA to contact my dr to resolve the issue. A simple phone call. However, APRIA will happily inform you it is not their responsibility. It is the drs responsibility. The dr who has faxed and emailed them 3 times, and can verify the exact time and date the information was recieved.APRIA continues to claim no responsibility. I have NEVER recieved any supplies in over a year. If you do go with this insurance mill of a company and need to speak with customer support to try and resolve an issue, be prepared to speak to someone outsourced in a third-world country with barely a grasp of the English language to read a script to you and tell you to contact your doctor. No empathy. No sympathy. No desire for account resolution. No responsibility for horrendous service. They get 1 star because I can't give them any lower. This has been the worst experience with anyone in the quasi-medical field in my entire disabled life. I pray you read this review before you get sucked into the black hole of despair and inability that is APRIA.Also, the one single review that gave 5 stars is fake. Look into it.

Worst customer service I have ever encountered. They don’t answer phone calls and they don’t answer email. Been working to get a portable oxygen concentrated.

Medical providers should make the lives of older and sick people easier and not talk to them as those they have no understanding. I had to intervene for one of my residents after she was told she had to take an item that was not safe for her. Kindness does still work. People should try it more often instead of threats and intimidation.
