Not a very well maintained property in my book, kitchen lacking utilities and cooking vessels, had to eat out.Noteworthy details: Lackluster support and supplies

Overpriced compared to nearby hotels, guess they figure they put kitchens in the room they don’t have to offer breakfast, probably will go somewhere else next time.Rooms: Clean with kitchen, view was of a privacy fence 2 feet from my window

Hotel staff were accommodating and friendly, always a happy face to greet you good morning. The rooms were nice aside from the peeling and ripped chairs.Someone broke into my hotel room twice, both times while I was in the room (this was 1230 am), there were no cameras in the hallway to catch the person who did it. The only thing stopping them was the metal latch on the door since the deadbolt did not fit into the slot in the door frame. If you are traveling alone and/or value your personal safety I would not recommend it. Staff were very kind and supportive when I explained what happened but I was appalled to hear that none of it was caught on camera as there was no camera by my room.

First room was not cleaned. Wet wash rag and towels on floor. Mirror nasty and bed had been laid on. 2nd room someone opens door with room key. The latch was locked, so it prevented the person from entering. I looked out the peep hole didn't see anyone, so I opened the door. It was the employee that checked me in. I called downstairs to find out what was going on. The lady said it was her and the computer was showing that no one was in room. Will never stay here again.

Well the room I was in the smoke detector fell out the ceiling out the blue. We had to hunt them down for two light bulbs. One by the bed and the one over the desk. The shower curtain was to small I mentioned that because it was very aggravating to have water all over the floor because of a shower curtain and then have to use your towels. Then I we had to hunt them down for towels. They're short on staff also Holiday inn express is owned by the same company. They supposed to link together Holiday inn does the breakfast and they have the pool so candlewood suites guests go over there and candlewood does the free laundry. One morning Jennifer who was at the front desk at holiday inn express she was the most rudest person I've ever met. She had told my fiancee that they couldn't have breakfast. Breakfast wasnt over until 9:30am it was 9;10am it was so embarrassing and frustrating to have to argue with her over food as early as it was.... she out the cherry on the top also whole time she was on her cell phone in front of all the customers looking ghetto all she was missing was bubblegum

The primary purpose of this review is to highlight their surprisingly well-equipped exercise room. It it clean, well-maintained and supports a variety of exercises. Even a water fountain and scale are provided. It handily surpasses the exercise rooms of many hotels a star higher. The rooms are what you would expect for the price and location. I did not encounter any significant issues.Walkability: This area is barely walkable as there are no sidewalks or pedestrian crossings.Food & drinks: There are a few popular table service restaurants within walking distance. Fast food and groceries are difficult to acquire.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Our family reserved and paid for a room on the way home from a road trip. The hotel overbooked and gave away our room, so when we arrived, exhausted, we were told there were no rooms available. Due to a storm and nearby power outages, there were no rooms in the area either. We ended up just driving all night, which is not an ideal situation. I don’t understand how hotels can overbook and leave families stranded. We made the best of it for our kids, for memory sake, but what this company did was just wrong. There were 5 other families in the lobby with us that were in the same predicament.

Overall it was great , after finally checking in . Arrived with a reservation just as two customers ahead of me . 51 minutes in line . Something went terribly wrong . Being in line listening to everyone's problems is a hectic job .

I wouldn't stay here unless you need to. My room had no towels. I asked for some at the front desk and Zoe handled it and apologized. Then me and my family hit the snack room and got back to the room took of a bite of the yogurt which was sour looked at the date and it had expired 4 months ago. I told zoe and showed her 6 more like it in their cooler. Which she rectified. I told the front desk in the morning and the girl brushed it off and said we have had expired milk before too. I asked was no one checking the dates when receiving products or maintaining the food in the store and they said no. If this is the attitude towards the food that is consumed I don't think I'd trust anything here.

Only reason I gave a 4 star is you could tell this hotel is where working men stay. Meaning construction workers, oil plant workers because the halls and elevator smelled of dirty working men.

If I could leave 0 stars I would!!!! The service and cleanliness was terrible. There was mildew all over the shower and mold growing near the faucet. I literally slept in my car. The lady at the front desk had a very nasty attitude along with dirt under her fingernails. Not to mention the cops came to the hotel 4 times. Homeless people hanging out. Very sketchy hotel. I would not recommend.

Good place to stay in Alexandria, rooms are decent and clean, small kitchen in each one, and AC unit is pretty quiet. Bathroom is a bit small and outdated.

I had my employees stay here for an extended project in the area. There were people soliciting and squatting at the establishment. I’ve had my employees stay here before, and it was fine until new management came in. From what I understand, the employees of the hotel know about these squatters and solicitors and are complacent, or they are in on it. Do not stay here.

I was not impressed with this location at all. I was having as issue booking online, and when i called the hotel for assistance, i was asked for my number, but got no return call. I arrived and was told there was no price matching..so i returned to the car and booked from the parking lot to get the members price. There was trash piled on both sides of the entrance, and next to the elevator through our stay. Our room was in need of an update with visible rust on the bedside table, and bathroom lighting fixture, stained carpets and bedding. We had a drip coffee pot in our suite, where in the past we've enjoyed a Keureg pot. There were no fun local facts or trivia on the bulletin boards up front, or visitors information visible. In general, a lesser enjoyable experience than we've had with you prior.

Me and the wife stayed there for a Neighborhood Market Inventory and the second floor had really bad smell.
