Went to urgent care and had my prescriptions sent to CVS on Jackson as usual. Went to pick them up and they were closed at 7:30 when the sign says 8pm, the internet says 10pm and the phone also says 10pm. Now I have to wait 12.5 hours to get my medicine… RIDICULOUS! I will be changing pharmacies.

Just done. I have been going here for years. Needed an emergency prescription filled at 7:00. They don’t close until 10;00. I call Kroger and they closed in 30 minutes and said bring it we’ll fill it. I was in and out in 15 minutes. 3 times in the last couple months I’ve gone in to pick up a prescription before closing and they were closed HOURS early. There was a woman in the store livid because she drove 30 minutes to pick up a prescription at 7:30 and they were supposed to be open until 10:00. Do not use this pharmacy. They say they are short handed. I get that but they have been saying that for 2 years. Hire these people some help. They are overworking the staff that is willing to stay. I would not work for this company either

Had an appointment to get a PCR COVID TEST witch is a requirement for my wife’s cancer surgery next week at MD Anderson in Houston. Appointment was made on Thursday the 28th. We canceled a test the day before surgery so we did not need to go a day early get a room etc. because we had a confirmation at CVS to get it in Alexandria. They would not give her the test and the pharmacist was extremely rude when Questioned as to why. Drive thru window lady was visible irritated having to answer any questions. I will never use are recommend anyone use such a despicable establishment.

States closes at 10 pm. Does NOT clearly state that pharmacy closes at 6pm on weekends. When to urgent care for elevated blood sugar, had med called in and arrived at 608pm. Was told, very rudly, that pharmacy closed at 6pm. An eldery lady was there to get her meds as well. The pharmacists walked out (head ducked) and employee turned and walked to back of the store. I have been a nurse for 30 years, if you do not care about people; find another job.

Ridiculously slow pharmacy, inside and drive thru. No one should have to wait 30 minutes to even be spoken to. They can only help 1 person at a time. I hate this place.

They lost the prescription! I was truly speechless, how do you go from entering in information, me checking on it twice (reorder)to no record at all. Makes you wonder what they are really doing!

This is the worst pharmacy EVER. They need to completely shut down this location. My daughter has epilepsy and has to have her meds ON TIME. This pharmacy never has them ready on time- and getting someone on the phone is impossible. I have literally been on hold for HOURS before and they never picked up. I actually stayed on the line while I drove in to town to go in the store and speak to someone in person. I was still on hold when I finally got to the counter in the store (after waiting in a long line there too). I have been hesitant to switch pharmacies because I know I can find a CVS anywhere- but after today- I’m done! My daughter has been without one of her seizure meds for 5 days and I’ve tried to talk to someone every single day and still haven’t reached anyone. I’m on hold as I’m writing this review. I’ll probably still be on hold when I drive into town later to switch pharmacies.

DO NOT COME HERE! I watched a tech spill pills on the floor, she looked around and put them back in the bottle. She let it sit for a bit and tried a handing it to me. She tried to tell me she didn't at first but went back and refilled the bottle.Very slow service. They will tell you it's being filled give them an hour and when you go in they have none of your meds in stock. About to change to Lafayette and just take a hit in the travel.

This pharmacy is TRASH. Never answer their phone...Slow on filling medicine. Once they even gave me my kids liquid medicine in unmixed powder form! Had to drive all the way back up there for them to actually mix the liquid! I used this place because of my job's medical plan but not anymore. I'll just pay more at other pharmacies.

Absolutely horrendous service. I’ve seen rocks move faster than the employees working at this place. Send your medications here if you want to be stuck waiting in a line for hours.

This pharmacy is unbelievably incompetent. Ok they may be short handed but so are the rest of us. I feel so sorry for elderly people and others who don't understand the complexity of having the pharmacy fax the order to refill the medicine(then they forget to do it) then calling the MD's office because supposedly they didn't respond (but they really did) then calling back the pharmacy. I waited an hour on hold for someone to pick up the phone at CVS and finally hung up. This whole process is unacceptable. Something has got to give.

This is the worst pharmacy in Alexandria. It’s the worst CVS I’ve ever been to. Randomly close the pharmacy with no notice, prescriptions never ready on time. Avoid at all costs.
