Worst rental location in Alexandria. Showed up at 4pm for my 5pm reservation that I had made online and paid with credit card online like I do with every other reservation in the past. Website claims you can “touch less” pick up and pay with card online. Worker told me he had to swipe my card which I didn’t have physically on me. Made no attempt to correct situation other than cancel my reservation and push me out the door for closing at 5pm. Called customer service reservation number in parking lot and Hertz was unhelpful as well so now I’m without a vehicle for the weekend. Thanks a lot. Going to the airport now to try there. Truly POS rental company and location.

Coliseum Blvd Hertz, not only lied about being able to review cameras at their location but added over $400 worth of charges to my invoice. I rented the car for “TWO DAYS” and the daily rental was $60 per day plus tax, which gave me a total of $127.97. I even overlooked that fact that it was filthy inside and the right back tire was on a flat. If I wouldn’t have said anything to the representative at that branch they would’ve allowed me to drive away with it on flat.I reached out numerous of times via email, phone, and voicemail to a man that reached out to me first named Ronald J. Dorf (Vehicle Control Dept). and no response yet.I called the customer service line since the representatives in that Alexandria La location couldn’t help me! I was informed by this customer service representative that every Hertz location had an option to review cameras at any time! I don’t like how I was treated, cheated, lied to and dismissed as if I didn’t matter or my business.Unfortunately, it’s no longer about the money just the principle! This is my first review that I have ever left on any business but I had to be honest about how this company is being represented!

My rental was the nastiest thing I have ever been in. It was disgusting. Stunk like cigarettes so bad I got sick and so did my kid. It was a compact SUV instead of the small SUV I reserved. It had dried ice cream in it. Stale French fries. Gunk in the seatbelts things I had to clean before I could hook up my daughters car seat because it wouldn’t latch. Blood spots on the ceiling. Center console broke. Touch screen wouldn’t work and speakers blown. I spent over $100 and all evening cleaning it like a mad person and it still smells like nasty cigarettes. I was told it was the only one available and my vehicle was put in the shop so I had no choice but to take a rental from Hertz. The oil was below minimum and so was the radiator fluid. I’m surprised it didn’t run hot. It was the NASTIEST rental I have ever seen and I am appalled it was even rentable. Trying to reach Hertz to make a complaint is a joke!! Absolutely disgusting company, location, vehicles and attitudes of the people that work there.

The ladies at Hertz Coliseum Blvd. in Alex go above and beyond to help you and are literally the nicest people. I was stressed because my car had to go in the shop and I have a teenager that I have to get to and from practice along with my work schedule. Thes ladies made everthing so easy and with a smile the whole time! You ladies ROCK!FIVE STARS.....the only company I will use now! Thank y'all so much!

Very rude on multiple occasions. I’ve tried to use them again but get the same demeanor. Hertz on coliseum Blvd Alexandria very unprofessional. Cars not clean inside and out. Their excuse, we’re not obligated to clean outside. Ok, clean the inside then. Couldn’t see out of windows, smelled like smoke etc. They gave me a vehicle with a dead car lock battery and said they couldn’t correct it. Hung up on multiple times trying to rent. Of course, app doesn’t work

Im actually being charged $600 for an overdue rental when I dropped it off on SuperBowl Sunday when nobody was there to receive it. Check your freaking cameras, people!!!And when I received this vehicle, all the tires were low, it smelled like somebody had been smoking cigarettes inside, it only had 7/8 of a tank, the car was dirty and filthy, I couldn’t see out of the windshield, and a host of other problems with this car.Grade: FAIL

As a foreigner, I felt discriminated against and got one of the worst experiences ever with a car rental company. They don’t welcome foreigners and they act suspiciously and in unfriendly way with them. I had all the needed documents to rent a vehicle but the agent refused to give it to me. I showed them my valid local driving license, my valid international driving license, and a valid temporary driving license from Louisiana DMV. Of course this is in addition to my passport and credit card etc.. They wasted my time and ruined my day and I will avoid them completely in the future for the inconvenience they caused to me.

Beware, they don't keep online websites updated of their stock. You will likely show up, like I did and assume your reservation is good, but then they will tell you they don't have any cars in the size you reserved, and unlike enterprise, they will not honor the reservation and tell you that you must pay more for a different car. This is a scam and very frustrating when I could have booked with another company who honor their reservations.

These people get NO Stars really! The rudest most unprofessional group of people I have ever dealt with in my life. I was being “yelled” at because I wanted to switch cars. These folks were more interested in what their lunch menu offered than any customer. No one got out their desks…to show me the “switch.” Rude Rude Rude! Hope Hertz corporate is paying attention!! I will NEVER be back in that place again. Even walking on the interstate to get home is a welcomed thought!

The absolute worst hertz car rental business I have ever been to. They do not have any cars to rent but do they tell you that on the phone no they wait until you take a taxi to get there and then tell you they are out of cars after you you have a confirmation number witch means nothing. 4 employees sitting at desk doing nothing. Customer service is terrible horrible. Do not use this car rental place it is terrible.

Did have any cars available but there were 20 cars in the parking lot. Manager trainee wasn't friendly and rude. Someone needs to report her Hertz Inc.
