I’ve visited this place before and I can say it was very educational and interesting I think we all need to some education during. black history month every school in the Rapides Parish should come out

Love this beautiful historical plantation. We for a field trip with my daughter and was blown away by how beautiful everything is.

I loved the tour guides! They were knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. This was my first plantation tour and won't be my last. I loved the little gift shop as well. Great preserved artifacts. Thank you ladies!As an American descendant of slaves I feel that it's important to learn of our history.
Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, Kent House is an authentic Creole plantation house built circa 1796 prior to the Louisiana Purchase.
Tours of the house and outbuildings are available Monday through Saturday beginning at 9am, 10am, 11am, noon, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm.
