The young lady working 11/6/23 was absolutely amazing. I was not even there to rent a car from them but she was nicer and more helpful than the attendants at the other rental services. She sets an excellent example of customer service and genuine kindness!

I rented a car from National Car Rental at the Alexandria, LA airport. The service was quick, efficient, and very pleasant. Additionally, the manager, Ms Lakenji Brown, personally checked with me to ensure everything was going well with the rental. My experience with her on this, and my last two rentals, has been nothing but positive. I have not had this level of attention when I have rented from other companies. I'll definitely be going back to National next time as well.

If I could give this location 0 stars I would. My company rents from National all of the time and we never have any issues. This location has the worst customer service. My vehicle is in a shop in Houston 3 1/2 hours away so I rent the vehicle from the Houston airport. They will have my vehicle for another week so I will have to be in a rental another week. I do a lot of conference calls and the vehicle I was in the road noise was keeping them from hearing me clearly as I use the speakers in the vehicle because I drive a lot. I called customer service around noon on Thursday explained the situation. The rep notes my account and says I can go to the location and they would be able to put me into something else with no problem.Get to the location that evening and explain to the employee what I was there to do. He picks the keys up with an attitude looks into my account, turns around and picks up another set of keys with an attitude and tell me what he has available. I inquired about another vehicle he said it was reserved I said ok fine. He then ask me what the issue was again because they are limited on vehicles. I told him I’m bringing you a vehicle what does that have to do with anything there is nothing wrong with it. The truck was fairly new only 3,000 miles on it. Now he doesn’t want to give me the original vehicle he told me he had it’s all of a sudden not available. He’s calls the manager and I tried calling customer service back. Customer service tells me they sent a message for the manager to call me well today is Saturday and the manager didn’t care enough to reach out to the customer. The employees are horrible , poor leadership follow up. If you are low on cars they have lots full of them get some. Things are going to happen people may need to get from one place to the other and may not need to come back so they will have to drop cars at other locations. You are a rental car company figure out a way to keep your lot full without affecting customer service. It’s not the customers fault you don’t have cars customers just want to pay you and get where they are going. Saturday no call back from the manager so I drove 31/2 hours to the same company to swap out my vehicle. At least they have quality customer service. If you need a rental in Alexandria GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Not pleased at all with my experience with this company. I made a reservation over the phone and asked the rep several times if she was sure what I needed was in stock. She assured me every time I asked that they have what I needed in stock and that it was reserved for me. I drove over an hour to get the truck and upon my arrival I’m told that they see my reservation and they want to change it from a pickup truck to an SUV or minivan. I tell them that won’t work and I specially requested a pickup truck and they tell me they can’t help me because they don’t have any available. I ask who made the reservation and both of the desk clerks are clueless and quiet. They’re only responded is they can’t help me because they don’t know who made the reservation. Awful experience.

Very unprofessional and lack of communication. No complete understanding at allI arrived from Atlanta to visit my family.I had all my information together. I clearly explain so that wasn't NO problemGave me the runaway about car rental.I didn't have a major credit card just a debit card. I try to clearly explain that and the guy I guess was in his own world like most.I was told there would be a car available at 530 -600pm. I would get a call.No call.I understand peole get busy and things happen.Don't say you would do something and don't fall thru that a complete lie!!I was stuck with nothing . I was told not to worry I didn't have to call everything would be fineThey didn't even call.I had my money. Insurance card. Travel information.The manager act like she didn't care.Anytime you visit a place you need to make you have enough money and yourself together!So you dont be stuck looking stupid!I was suppose to go to enterprise car rental for $286.00. But national was there in the airportso it made sense to go

It says you can do a one way trip but that is near impossible to accomplish. Tried getting a rental from one airport to another and was told the location absolutely would not let any of their vehicles go.

I rented a car from this location and returned it Friday March 25th, 2022. The location was closed when I returned the car 2 days later I am still waiting for my receipt. I have called customer support and still no resolution. The contract is still showing as not returned. Customer service has been no help.

If you ever rent from this location Janet is the best employee to interact with! She has been nothing but helpful and always goes above and beyond with her customer service. I would give her 10/10 stars if it was possible but I'll settle for 5 solely based on my experiences with her.
