I don't know where to begin. They took a month and a half to complete my vehicle. Which ran me over my rental coverage with Progressive Insurance which ended up costing me 979.28 of my own money for my rental because Ray Hyde's service advisor kept extending the completion date. When I finally got the definitive call that my truck was complete, when I arrived to pick it up....I was shocked! The truck is two different colors, the new running boards are in the bed of my truck and for some reason, my back up camera was not working. After arguing with my insurance, they somehow convinced Ray Hyde to fix the issues they were obligated to do so from the beginning. I had to wait nearly 3 weeks for an opening to bring it back. They also said they would cover my rental. When Mrs. Hyde met me at the car rental place, she was VERY rude to me and ignored my appreciation I thanked her for doing the right thing. Finally, not even 24 hours later, they call me while I'm out of town working telling me my truck was complete. When they we're having to pay my rental, they got on it right away but only to put the wrong running boards on. Which I still haven't heard back from them about!!!

Their work is very **** poor. No communication except for an “automated text” that changes every other day. They had me out of my truck almost a month and a half after continuously getting these automated updates numerous times weekly. Meaning after 30 days, I’m responsible to pay for my rental after 30 days max coverage with Progressive. So after my deductible and just shy of a thousand dollars out of my pocket, I get my truck back looking like two different colors, 1 running board and my reverse camera unplugged. These new running boards were in the back of my truck. Crazy! So after complaining to my insurance company about all this, Ray Hyde Paint and Body agreed to pay for me a rental to correct the issues. Little did I know after returning back to work that my truck this time would be miraculously be ready in one day. Therefore them telling me they weren’t paying for my rental anymore and that I had to return the rental today. Also, they didn’t call and tell me anything until Friday at 3pm. So now I have to drive back to town from Lafayette to Alexandria, Uber from the rental agency to my truck and then finally, back to work. Lastly, I told the Owners wife, “Thank you” for the rental the day of and she snubbed her nose in the air and had no words for me. How professional. I strongly suggest finding another body shop if your looking in my opinion….

I have a new ‘22 F150 lariat on my way to work one morning I hit a big doe. After making a police report and talking to progressive insurance advisor they recommended Ray Hyde paint and body. Dropped my truck off on 05-22-23 was called two days later and was given an estimated completion date of 06-09-23 on 06-01-23 I was called and told my truck is ready. Aside from the missing license plate bracket looks brand new. When I picked the truck up I did asked about the license plate bracket and was told that because it was not on the truck when he received it, it was overlooked. He was very friendly and professional ordered a new one and will contact me when it arrives. Very satisfied and I will recommend them to anyone.

The worst body shop in Alexandria La. and Rapides Parish. I had Ray Hyde do repairs on my 2009 GMC Sierra. They repaired the front right door which they left the lower door weather stripping off,the wire harness boot wasn't install correctly, left several scratches on the door near the window. over spray and buffing compound in door jamb and scuffed up my window new defector. No help from staff.

Couldn't ask for a more caring or fully attentive body shop. They made sure I was taken care of to the fullest extent from day one. The main chick in charge, Lexi, she's the one that I spoke with on regular basis while they had my car. She kept me updated regularly. I could call or text her at any time day or night & she didn't mind helping me. She made sure my car was ready exactly when she quoted me from the beginning. When I picked up my car I noticed the windshield was cracked from the wreck & brought it to her attention (in which she had not known it wasn't previously there) so the following week Lexi sent 2 of her guys out to my work to pick my car up (I work 1 hour & 45 min from the body shop) they got the new windshield installed & Lexi personally delivered my car back to me without any hesitation plus replenished my gas & detailed it inside & out! I would definitely recommend this paint & body shop to anyone needing auto repairs. Thank y'all so much for everything you done for me!

I was super impressed with this Body Shop. They did an amazing job on my 2012 Tundra. Very easy to work with, good communication, and overall great experience. I used their services after an auto accident and while I hope I don't have another accident anytime soon, I will definitely be using their services again if the need arises. Awesome Job!

Worst body shop in Cenla, my ordeal started on 4-18-22 when I dropped my vehicle off for a 3.5 day repair according to my insurance claims adjuster, that 3.5 days turned into 17 days and on the 17th day I stated I was coming after my car and the shop foreman put the front bumper back on as so it was drivable then altho they were still waiting on the grill to get there and I could bring it back and have it finished up. not only did it take them 17 days to get this far on a 3.5 day repair. When they took my front wheel off they lost my lock key for the wheels ,that's right they lost it or at least that's the story the shop foreman finally told me once he decided to call me at home like 3 days later. I left the wheel lock in a plastic bag in the cup holder and when we got home I asked wife if it was in cup holder and she said no So I turned the car inside out looking for it and it was not there only the plastic bag. Their works is good as far as I can see from the damage we sustained to the right front fender from a deer accident. But everything else from ordering parts and having them their in a timely manner. And who in the world loses a wheel key lock? Makes me question the tiny man Ray Hyde himself and his so called auto body technicians that work here. last phone conversation I had with the front office was the grill would be there in 2-3 days from the time I picked it up it has been 7 days as of this review.

After a deer hit our car, we were able to get an appointment very quickly! Dropped off this morning and it should be ready by Thursday. All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful

I brought my car to Ray Hyde November 8,2021. Today is December 11,2021. I had to keep calling for updates when they should’ve been calling me. I understand delays but I just wanted somebody to communicate with me what was going on. I was told different dates when my car would be ready and none of them were correct so because they have my car for over 30 days I’m paying out of pocket for a rental because my insurance company has stopped paying. It’s really affecting my other bills and my kids Christmas because of it. I don’t doubt they do great work, I’m just not pleased with the service. I would’ve thought they would at least reimburse me for the rental because it’s not my fault my car is still there.

I brought my car to ray hyde after a accident the spot to repair was the driver side behind the back wheel. The estimated time was 2 weeks it took 4 weeks. When we picked it up and looked it over there was paint in the car on the driver side door and the knobs to move the seat and a little on the seat. After having the car back 2 weeks I washed it by hand because I wanted a good look, there is scratches all over the car swirl marks everywhere and over spray on the hood the whole driver side windshield and at the bottom right in front of the back wheel on the driver side. I will also let my insurance know how crappie my Cadillac turned out oh and the car was only 3 months old when it went to them . I WILL NEVER TAKE ANYTHING BACK TO RAY HYDE.
