I love this service department. Karen has been so helpful to me. I lost my husband a year ago and he always knew what to do about our service needs. unfortunately, I don't know anything about it. I am so happy that I can call Karen to answer my questions. I trust her completely. Thank You, Karen!!

I just learned how special Southern Chevrolet is. I bought a 2023 Chevy Traverse and when I got to my office with it my boss was very upset - she paid more for her Ford and didn't get any of the special treatment I got - full tank of gas, all weather floor liners, my salesperson Kayla took time to sit in the car and explain all the smart features, and to top it off she put a big red bow on the car and took a picture of me with it. Awesome people, awesome service, awesome car! Too bad for Ford customers.

My experience with this service department was excellent. I am in a new city and don’t know anyone so it was important that my can was repaired in the same day. I also will applaud the ride to work and the pick up from work. Don’t think I have ever experienced pickup and I have lived in 9 major cities. Small town works sometimes…..

I had my vehicle delivered by Southern Chevrolet. The delivery guys went above and beyond to make sure the delivery was on time and that the transaction was quick and seamless. Service was exceptional!

The service was completed expeditiously ahead of the schedule quoted by the service attendant.The waiting area was clean. Service personnel were courteous and knowledgeable. A very enlightening experience that exceeded my expectations.

I made a service appointment and the earliest appointment was 3 weeks out bc they are "backed up". Dropped car off the night before appt. on 9/11/23 & called almost everyday to get an update on my vehicle. Took for me to ask for Mike the service manager before I got any answers on my check engine light on 9/15. Also asked them to check noise on front passenger wheel. Received an update on 9/19 that it was a tie rod and wheel bearing that would cost $1289.95 so I declined to seek a second opinion. When I arrived on 9/25 to finally pick up my car I asked Karen about my extended warranty and if the wheel work was covered under it and she said "oh yeah you have a parts warranty and a certified warranty, I think it would only cost you the $50 deductible...I will confirm tomorrow and let you know. And we have the wheel bearing in stock but bc of the UAW strike we don't have the tie rod and don't know how long it would take to get it." I received a call from Karen the next day confirming that it would only cost the $50 deductible and I could bring it back for the wheel bearing fix. I returned the car the night of 9/28 for service on Friday 9/29 & got the car back same day. Karen said the tie rod was no longer an issue bc the noise was coming from the wheel bearing and it should be fixed now. Well, noise is better but still happening. I should really bring it back because when it was an out of pocket charge you all were willing to change both but now that it's covered under warranty, only the wheel bearing is the problem....go figure. I will be calling today to order the tie rod and see what happens. Took over 2 months appt to partial finish and still not 100% fixed. Poor poor communication and disregard for people's time. Mike was good though and quickly responded, seems like he did the best he could based on what was communicated to him.

I brought my 2023 Traverse to the service department for a check engine diagnostic.. The service staff told me that I could schedule an appointment to speak with a service advisor in 2-3 weeks. Then, they would schedule me again to actually look at my vehicle. So 4-6 weeks out to actually look at my vehicle. They seemed proud of their processes and unconcerned with me or my vehicle. I will not do any future business at Southern Chevrolet.

The whole staff were very friendly and helpful and made you feel like family. Wayne Ryder was very professional and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Wayne worked with us on every step of the process and wouldn't move on until he was sure we had no further questions. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a vehicle.

I have no issues with Karen, she was helpful and informative the whole way. However, the service department sucks. It took y’all 3 times to repair a simple rear wiper washer hose. 1st try they just refilled tank and called it good. 2nd chance they had all the hoses backwards and rear sprayer didn’t even work at all. Do you not have a QC program or do you techs even check their work, or maybe they are to worried about turning the next flag hour instead of producing quality work. A simple wheel bearing (hub assembly) job from start to finished turned into 2 weeks. Walker Automotive sucks and they aren’t this bad. I understand parts are being back ordered in the time we are living in, but common sense would tell us that if you order a axle shaft then maybe we should order the axle nut too? Then to top it all off, I brought this Tahoe in while it was STILL UNDER BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY, y’all ordered a front smoked grill trim due to it peeling and messed up, it was back ordered , no problem. However, we still have to drive our vehicle in that time frame, so it went over the 36,000 mile warranty. Now, even though this part was ordered and work order was created under the manufacture bumper to bumper warranty, y’all would not honor it because we are now over that said mileage. Very disappointed in the quality or service we received. Like I said earlier, Karen did a great job with the communication side of this and I do not blame her. Southern Chevrolet, you must do better.

Service department is always friendly and helpful. My oil changes are reasonably priced. So much so , it's economical for me to drive from Rosepine La to get the service.

had to call roadside service once I got to a person very nice experince the tow truck arrived within 30 minutes delivered to Southern Chevrolet I got a calll from the service department first thing Monday morning and they had it out before lunch very impressed with the whole process went very smooth The service department was very nice and friendly. will tell everyone about my positive experince at Southern Chevrolet

I traded my 2022 equinox in for a Honda because it had NUMEROUS rattles that the service department people said they couldn’t hear, yet everyone else I had in my car heard just fine. I would not recommend Southern Chevrolet or a Chevrolet in general because of this horrible experience.
