Beautiful views. Clean, pretty, mostly updated rooms. No funky or old odors. Immaculate bathroom.Large TV, single cup coffee maker, minifridge.Bring wall chargers for phones, tablets, etc. There are no USB outlets.Art in rooms is beautiful, too. Check out all the Lobby-turned-museum.

We booked a double queen room. The sofa was broken and had an old sock and used bandaid in the cushions. The staff was extremely rude to us during our stay. We extended by one day because my daughter had some complications with her delivery via c-section at the Hospital a few blocks away, and the following day the maids were knocking at the door violently saying the room was supposed to be empty.. Then the front desk called 3 times telling us they thought we were going to a different room, then telling us they would ‘try to accommodate’ our staying in the same room. Then they told us we would have to go sign a new registration at the lobby, which we did. The Hotel is not booked up; there are very few people here.On this same afternoon, two of my other kids wanted to come to the hotel for a visit. They were treated incredibly rudely when they asked where the elevator was in the lobby. The one saving grace was the exquisite food from this restaurant, The Bentley Room. It was marvelous.I realize the Hotel is old and the rooms have not been renovated, but the staff being terrible to us made this stay unfortunate.Maybe do better with customer service in the future Bentley Hotel.

I love the history and decor of this hotel. It is truly amazing. I was not expecting this when I first booked my reservation. The service is exemplary as well.

The restaurant service is great. Ms. Gloria has a beautiful smile and is always welcoming. Very knowledgeable about the different cuisine too.Food & drinks: The restaurant has a historic vibe. Business like appeal for the local downtown area.

Beautiful hotel. Pricey and the housekeeping was very poor.

The Hotel Bentley staff stole everything out of our room ON OUR WEDDING NIGHT on October 28th, 2023, even though we were booked for another night and had verbally asked them not to clean the room and had a DND sign. It was like pulling teeth to get only SOME of about 20 articles of clothing back in 4 different bags over the next 48 hours. The housekeeping staff acted incredibly pissed that I would have the nerve to want my own stuff back and kept coming back when things were still missing. One of the items that was never returned were my husbands initial cufflinks I had given him the day before as a wedding day gift. AND the shirt they were on! I’ve stayed in many different hotels all over the world and never once had that happen to me. The room raided and swiped clean. And this is supposed to be some fancy special hotel? The Bentley is just like everything in Alexandria, overhyped and utterly disappointing. A damn joke. The beautiful lobby is the literal only thing it has going for it anymore. Unless you like being treated like garbage, go somewhere else. Anywhere else. And no, my wedding was not the the one at the Bentley that night so it had nothing to do with staff feeling some type of way about us. But they did see us arrive and leave in my huge white gown so they knew there’d be good “loot” in our room I suppose. Some “luxury service”‘alright. Absolute scum bag staff.

What a wonderful experience at this amazing hotel! Built in 1903, this place just oozes history and we had so much fun exploring the lobby and the WW2 exhibit. The restaurant was fantastic and the icing on the cake was the mirror bar! Great vibes and awesome drinks. If you're visiting Alexandria this is the place to stay.Rooms: Rooms are awesome, but the bathroom needed more places to hang towels along with rugs. The floor was marble and very slippery when wet.

Stayed here for a family event. The exterior and the lobby are very historic. The bar and party room were nice. However, the rooms are in need of some serious work. The layouts are unusual and it feels like they just took an array of furniture and placed it in each room. The beds are not comfortable and generally the room just felt like it wasn't very clean.

Great location for a wedding, breakfast or just a road trip! Hotel Bentley of Alexandria was amazing and the staff was super friendly. Brunch the next morning was like a dream! Very filling and great price. We ended up parking in the lot next to the Holiday Inn next door. There’s plenty of parking nearby as well. Have a great trip!

Came in on a Sunday for two nights for our anniversary. Did not realize there would be NOTHING open in the hotel for dinner or drinks. Then, when we went out to explore on Monday and came back in the afternoon, it was to a dirty room with no service. We called the front desk just to find out that the cleaning crew were already gone at 2pm. There is also a "Rose" smell in the room that is sickening. I can't find where its coming from. We love historic hotels and do our best to always stay in them, however, I would NOT recommend this place. Very disappointed and won't be back. At least we are checking out tomorrow.

Beautiful lobby. That’s it. Rooms are not good. Service isn’t good. We stayed there three nights and the room wasn’t cleaned once. We had to request clean towels daily. No hot water one morning. Toilet required MANY flushes and was dirty. Bed linens were stained. Seek accommodations elsewhere!!
