Please share! I do not normally use social media when I have an issue w a company. But…. Today takes the cake! My washing machine broke yesterday. I decided Home Depot had some good prices- I would just get it there. I was online trying to purchase both a washer and dryer. It would not let me add it to my cart- because delivery is not available. So, I decided to call store for help. After 17 minutes on hold, I hung up. I called back and asked for a MANAGER. The manager told me the appliance employee was with another customer and the appliance process takes a while. Told her which washer and dryer I wanted. She told me they only keep 1 set- for display in store. She also informed me they do carry some of 2 brands. I asked the models- so I could do some research before buying. She told me I was welcome to drive to the store to see what they have. OK- I just informed you that I live in another town. so- that frustrated me. Especially since a week ago I called the same store to ask for help w flooring. That young lady was rude and gave me the total runaround and answered zero questions for me. Meanwhile, I am online still looking at machines. Decided to try virtual chat. According to the “robot” answering me- if I live in an area where delivery is NOT AN OPTION——— I CANNOT PURCHASE APPLIANCES!!!! Pick up is NOT PERMITTED. What kind of a store does not allow you to buy something if you are out of their delivery zones?? Well needless to say- Lowe‘s got that $1400 order. Had I known how this company operates, I would have bought my $4000 zero turn elsewhere. I think they need some policy revisions and customer service training.

Over an hour wait after checking in at curbside, followed by 3 calls from me and 2 calls from them. purpose in curbside was defeated.

I rented a Billy Goat bush hog from them on Thursday. Paid the $150 deposit and scheduled pickup for Saturday. Friday afternoon I get an email stating that my rental was cancelled. No explanation, nothing. Will NEVER rent or buy anything else from Home Depot.

Went into the store to buy a ductless mini spilt unit that was on special buy. I purchased it at the pro desk applied a military discount. I got notification that the unit came in. When I picked up the unit, the box was damaged and the paint on the metal was chipped. I’m not installing the unit until a couple of months from now and a 220v plug needs to be wired for installation. I would be unsure if the unit was working correctly or not since I can not test it and do not know

Went today (3-26-2021) to purchase a log splitter. Received the best service from all associates involved. Have never received service of this kind at any Lowe’s I have ever shopped at.

I live in Alexandria, but travel all over America, this is by far the worst Home Depot you will ever find. You'll have to ask 4 people (if you can find them) for help in the paint department, and they will all say "not me". And that's it, not go find someone, call anyone, just walk off. This has happened to me multiple times. I live 3 minutes away, but will generally drive further to Ace or Lowes if it's something I will need an associate to help me with. They are an embarrassment to the locals of Alexandria.
