I've been a frequent customer since that location opened. Mrs Rhonda & the staff were always friendly & helpful. I went for a hose reel swivel connection. They didn't have any. The owner followed me out the store like I stole something. I showed him what I needed & he said they didn't have any. Today I went back to buy something else. I asked the owner why he followed me to my truck previously. I asked if he considered me a customer or a thief. He said that I was a customer with a problem. I've never stole anything from there, I paid for everything. He sure knows how to lose customers from what I am seeing from other people's reviews. It's hard to shop local when you have to deal with A holes.

I had a pretty horrendous experience here. I'm a regular at the Ace in my town and thoroughly love the place. However I was in a nearby town to here helping my family and went here since I was nearby. The staff does not seem to want people in there. They do not like browsing. They want you to get your stuff and get out. I didn't know exactly what I needed and was trying to look at what was available and get a game plan for a fix. I ended up leaving without buying anything. They were extremely rude the entire 5 minutes I was in there. they followed me around and huffed and puffed when I said I was browsing. I have never written a bad review in my entire 52 years. This is my first one.

Miserable experience.
The employees were extremely rude; almost to the point of running me out the store.
I would rather drive an extra hour just to avoid this Ace Hardware.

They greet me every time I walk in. Slightly higher prices are ok cause I don't have to drive into Lafayette/Carencro and take 1/2 a day to do it. Support local business!

Everything is way overpriced, but the staff is friendly and mostly helpful. They would get five stars because usually it beats the hell out of having to drive all the way to Lowes or Home Depot for a 10mm socket to finish a project. Unless it happens to be Sunday, then you're screwed because they're closed...which is ironically the day most 10mm sockets vanish.
