American Factory Direct DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE... YOU WILL REGRET IT. I've experienced the WORST customer service and furniture delivery service that I've ever gotten from any furniture store. These people are so UNPROFESSIONAL and should not be in business. The store manager and the delivery manager are both full of SHIT and they refused to satisfy me with a timely re-delivery of the furniture that was damaged by their employees. They do not know how to solve problems and take care of their customers. Great managers solve problems. Mediocre manager as these at American Factory Direct hide behind their poorly written policies that were designed by them to screw over the customers and provide legal loopholes that protects them from getting sued. On Wednesday 10/21/23, I spent over $9,000 on new furniture Sectional sofa with 3 Recliners, Dining Room Table with 4 Chairs, TV Console, and King Mattress & Box Springs. My delivery came on Friday 10/20/23 as scheduled. When everything was unpacked, the following items were damaged and returned: part of the section, the TV console, and 1 dining room chair. I called both the delivery manager and the store manager to get the items on an expatiated delivery. Their answer was NO, the sooner I could get the items delivered would be on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. My wife even called the salesperson who got a pretty good commission on over $9,000 sales. They could not even give me an exact date. Just poor customer service. I told them to come and pick up all the remaining pieces of furniture and their response was "we CANNOT pick up the furniture and we do NOT give refunds. It's all about a SALE to these unprofessional people. I mentioned contacting an attorney and they threatened to hang up the phone. Even my salesperson (Espy) did not seem concern at all and did not even bother with a follow up call. My wife finally called him on Tuesday afternoon to check on the status of the re-delivery. It's ironic how the salespeople and managers in the store treat you with so much respect and value you as a customer when you're in the showroom, but when a problem arises and things go wrong through no one's fault but their own, they treat you like SHIT and they don't care about you as a customer or as a person because they already ripped you out of thousands of dollars. Before this purchase and after reading so many other reviews, I advised my wife in advance "DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM these people" and American Factory Direct. They advertise a third-generation family owned and operated business. Well, this generation dropped the ball and have no idea how to run a respectful business. The owners, managers, and salespeople all need some type of customer service training and management intervention training. The only person who was professional and understanding was the customer service person who answered the phone and the delivery drivers. I should have been the first stop on Tuesday, instead I was stop #7 or #8. Oh, that's because the majority of the stops before my stop were re-delivery to other customers who had damaged furniture on their original delivery. IMAGINE that!!!! I was supposed to go back and purchase 2 more-bedroom sets and 4 bar stools, but THAT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. I am NOT giving these CROOKS anymore of my business. And they have the audacity to respond to other people's complaints with the saying "At American Factory Direct customer service is our top priority. We value our customers". REALLY.. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else. Looks and in person kindness and politeness can be deceiving. If I could American Factory Direct Furniture a ZERO star rating, I would because I am so upset with the way my wife and I were treated and disrespected, I will NEVER forget this NEGATIVE experience and I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

We purchased several pieces this past May. First the showroom is very beautiful. The selection is huge. Our salesperson was Sherolyn I have to say it was like shopping with an old friend. She was fun, very helpful and knew so much about the products. The ladies in the office were wonderful. Thank you so much!

For me, the worst company that I buy Furniture‘s I already bought a living room set from them and I bought an extra protection insurance and I have issues and they never fix it for meand Laily the last one that I bought it’s a whole bedroom set on this one my bedroom set I have some damage and they trying to explain a lot of stuff that I didn’t understand and they didn’t want to replace it to me I don’t recommend this company at all to nobodyThe words Furniture in Louisina

My family had a wonderful experience shopping today! Our sales consultant, Ella Burns, was knowledgeable about each piece and interior design and helped us find the perfect pieces. Now I’m really excited for how our living room is coming together. Everyone was so kind to our kids who had to come along with us too. Definitely recommend AFD and think you should visit with Ella!!

This is the second time we have purchased furniture from AFD & have been thoroughly impressed with the quality of furniture, outstanding service, and professional delivery. This go around, I made sure to seek out our first sales consultant, James Whitmore. He was extremely helpful & knowledgeable of any questions I asked. He was attentive & professional. Thanks James!!! ***Update to this. Thank you Timmy for helping us resolve this issue***We purchased a reclining sofa and love seat from the Baton Rouge showroom and that is what they will tell you, they are ONLY a showroom and can not help you with anything else. We picked it up in Covington from the distribution center ourselves because the charge to deliver was $200 after we had spent thousands already. We got it home and set up to find that one end does not recline. We were in the following weeks mailed a new cord which didn’t fix the problem. A few weeks later they sent a Tech with a cord that had not fixed the problem in the first place. Now 10 days later they call and say it will be at least 3 more weeks because they only have one tech willing to come out where we live??? Not our problem. And if they send us the part it will void the warranty.So we have a brand new sofa that has been in our house for almost 2 months has NEVER worked and no one there will help us.

My Mom and I should've recognized a red flag when it took 2-3 people to place our order on the computer and it took them 45 minutes, but we waited because we were excited about our order.My order went okay, but they told us it would take a week to have my mom's bed delivered. She didn't want to wait, but we did. When the week was up and we hadn't heard anything, I called the store and they told me her order was not in yet, and the salesperson would have to call us back two days later. We were told it would be another week and that turned into two more weeks.My mom's bed was finally delivered and once assembled, the bed was too high. The salesperson repeatedly told us that her mattress and boxspring would work out perfect for her because it was going to sit low (my mom is 77 yrs. old).My mom called the store and was told that the salesperson would have to call her back two days later. She called back and asked to speak with a manager. The manager kept talking over my mom and told her that in order to return the bed, she would have to pay 10% of the cost of the bed.They're supposedly looking for a replacement of the boxspring, but who knows where it will go from here.They have no customer service. They are rude and lazy!

I am still waiting for a recliner I purchased from AFD in Baton Rouge over a month ago. I have inquired about the status of the delivery and was told they had no idea. When I told the sales women I wanted to cancel the purchase and get my money back as I have already paid in cash for the recliner and delivery, I was told I would have to pay a twenty-five percent restocking fee. If they do not know the status of the delivery how can you charge me a restocking fine. I will never purchase from AFD, again.

Amazing experience shoppping at American Factory Direct! I was in and out of the store 3-4 different times within a short period to browse for furniture as my husband and I awaited the completion of our total house remodel. Ella assisted me in choosing the perfect furniture as if she had known me forever! She is an incredibly talented interior designer/decorator whom I am proud to now call a friend!
