If for some reason, you MUST use this company, please do yourself a favor and buy the premium insurance package they peddle because YOU WILL NEED IT! 4 months since our move with Armstrong Relocation in Baton Rouge and we are STILL working out the settlement with United Corporate for the damage done to our personal property.
This company does not care about you or your property; they will tell you anything you want to hear to get your contract signed and your money in their hands. Our delivery was nearly 3 weeks late from our contracted spread, which they scheduled. In the meantime, we were given every excuse in the book and just had to wait in limbo until a moving company in Arkansas was able to fit in an unload/unpack into their schedule. Thankfully, we were compensated $250 a day for each day late thanks to that premium insurance policy I mentioned.
During that time, the movers at the Baton Rouge Armstrong Relocation office did nearly $10K in damages to our furniture and property during the 3 weeks it sat in their care. Every single piece of furniture they touched was damaged with several items ruined or rendered useless. The process of negotiating a settlement with United Corporate has been as slow and painful as the move itself.

We relocated with Armstrong 2 1/2 years ago. The movers dropped some of our furniture down our stairs and cause damage to the stairwell, walls and ceiling. They also drug the furniture across our hardwood floors causing dense throughout. We submitted the claim as we were instructed. Over the course of 2 1/2 years they’ve had people come out and look. We got quotes. They even agreed to pay for the damages after we received estimates. I have it in writing. In October they said the check was on the way. It is now January and no check. I have tried repeatedly to contact them. Finally I get a message that their company is having financial issues and they will not be able to pay for damages. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! We have used many moving companies and this is by far are worst experience! I would give zero stars if I could. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Warning! Do not use this company for your move!I can't begin to tell you how much of a nightmare experience we had trying to move from New Orleans to Houston. While they did a great job packing up our home, the delivery experience was awful and time consuming. They first postponed the promised delivery date by five days because the driver had a personal problem. When they arrived five days later they ignored the instructions on how and when to deliver to our building. Showing up 3 hours late, they took their time unloading. I personally moved 40-50 boxes in the hopes that we could complete the delivery. It wasn't close. They had to return three days later. At that time they sat outside of our building for two hours while they waited to confirm their payment from their dispatch. The driver also complained about the bad condition of his van. None of this should have been our problem. We had already paid thousands of dollars for this move. I have spoken with the customer service team at United/Mayflower and been disappointed with their response. I would have hoped for such a large company to be adequately compensated for our waisted time and suffering. I was not!

Had a bad experience with these movers. They were about three hours late to showing up and regularly took hour long breaks. We found out after the fact that they had put down all our new furniture as being "dented, cracked, chipped, heavily used" for any high value item, which would have made it very tough if we had ended up having a dispute with the moving company if our items had been damaged.

They packed us, stored our belongings for 60 days and delivered our items to Florida! NEVER AGAIN!! They broke everything, lied & delivered items in multiple shipments. DO NOT USE THEM unless you want your tv’s shattered, couch ripped, green egg shattered (that you paid to have crated and they didn’t crate), rugs stained, mattress deformed, Peleton broken, dining room table destroyed, etc!!!! Here’s just a few pics…

A disaster! I have never filed a claim form in 40 years of moving within the US (5 times)and 2 times moving to and from Europe. My recent move in May/June 2021 by Armstrong Relocation from New Orleans, LA to Pittsburgh, PA has left me with 2 pieces of antique furniture lost ( never recovered) both of which I had owned for over 20 years, 2 Windsor chairs broken, 1marble top to antique secretary broken into 3 pieces, pieces broken off 1 antique gold-leaf mirror, a piece broken off a carved wooden wall hanging, and a leg of my English hunt table, cracked. The company has never followed up once and I have had to call the Baton Rouge office multiple times to enquire about my lost furniture. Their only response was, “ fill in the Claim Form”. I have filled in the claim form, the claims inspector has come out and I still have not heard a word from them. I can understand why Armstrong Louisiana is NOT a member of the Better Business Bureau. I would strongly advise against using this company to make your move!!

I brought a shipment down from Alberta Canada (residential move plus a car) in a 53’ regular dry van. The ENTIRE staff (office and moving crew) were beyond a pleasure to deal with. Not one negative thing could be said about this place! Absolute pleasure! Never In my 23 years of driving truck have I ever felt so welcome and respected ! Thank you all!

The packing and getting everything into the truck was an easy simple process and the workers were great. But they were suppose to have our truck in Colorado and put into storage by July 8, 2020 and we get a phone call from our military coordinator on July 10th that there was an issue with the truck and it was still in Baton Rouge. Next delivery date we got for our belongings was July 14th and we get another phone call from our coordinator that there was another issue with the driver/truck. Fast forward another week for our next delivery date of July 21st we call yo confirm and again there’s another issue and cannot make the 21st delivery. But this time Armstrong says they do not have any of our belongings in their warehouse they have left their possession but our coordinator informed us it’s still in the warehouse. At this point I don’t know where our belongings are or how to figure out where they are. I would not recommend this company for a long distance move we are now on day 25 without our stuff and have no idea when we will be receiving it.
