AEX international airport Avis they have poor customer service skills they were rude they gave me an electric car after the gas car that I rented which was a 2024 Ford Mustang, the air conditioner went out, and I had to return it to AEX the people there didn’t ask me if I what type of vehicle I wanted and they ended up giving me an electric car and there is no charge port anywhere is near where I was staying. Because in Alexandria to where I stayed in Jonesville Louisiana, there was nothing there to keep the car charge.. So I waited until I got to Baton Rouge. To leave for my flight there was an accident on the freeway that night and I couldn’t get to The charge port to recharge it up I left and went back to my hotel to get off the Freeway. And they’re charging me extra on my card for charges that should never been. So I had a poor experience with Avis and with this electric car. I would never refer a friend, family, member, or anyone to Avis Rent a car.Because people Doesn’t care about the people that are renting all their wanting is the money that’s the way It looks.

Despite reserving a car weeks in advance you will have to wait at least 30 minutes or longer for a car. This has been my experience each and every time with this Avis in BR, and to make matters worse, the customer service agents are not friendly.

I was a bit afraid after I read all the bad comments but I had a really good experienceThey didn’t have the car I booked in stock so I received a better oneEverything went smoothly and fineThe only thing that wasn’t clear for me is that the address on Google maps is not right, you need to go inside the airport to find the kiosk for rental cars.

Make sure you take photos of everything before you drop the car off. I was charged an extra fee for gas when I didn’t receive the car on full, but still returned it on full. It’s a charge that wasn’t necessary but I guess they felt like I would over look it. Charging some thing someone extra because you feel like they won’t catch it is just wrong.

The vehicle was dirty on the inside and outside and needed an oil change when we picked it up. Definitely not my best Avis experience.

Arrived to pick up my reserved rental car and was told they didn't have a car for me. After speaking with the clerk, she stated this was a common thing at this location. Beware, this location will leave stranded.

I love renting with Avis. The cars are affordable and clean. The customer service is the absolute best. They are the real reason why I continue to rent with Avis.

This was the worst experience ever with getting a rental car! The customer service was the worst ever, I got a low tire pressure light 2 hours into the trip. Got the road side service to pick up the vehicle, no spare tire in the truck it was nasty and not clean. Avis is horrible and I wouldn’t recommend no one came here. When they towed the vehicle me and my company was on side the road stranded when they did not check or inspect the vehicle. There were wires hanging out the tire, if that truck was being inspected properly this would have never happened. I could say so much more but what’s the use. I would have put zero stars if I could.

Avis was very unprofessional. I specifically paid in advance thru Avid to get an Mis Soul. The agent lied and said there were no cars available s BTR airport. I told her I had a meeting at 10:00am. She then threw me the keys and said B 8. It was not what I paid for and 1/4 of the gas was gone.!!!!!! Poor services. I am a preferred wizard member. Hire people who wants to work with good customer service

Well, when I arrived at Baton Rouge on October 30th to pick up my rental, it was filthy Rouge. No one ever cleaned it. I went back to the counter to get a new vehicle, which was a Nissan. The key given to me didn’t fit that vehicle. I went back to the counter to get my third vehicle, it was an iconic. I rented the vehicle for the assigned 4 days. Returned it early on November 2nd. On November 7th I realized that Avis charged me $1,082 and still thought I had the Rouge that I never had possession of. Are you people serious? What is wrong with this company. I rent from Avis regularly and almost always have a problem. Your service has become trash and you overcharge for the poor service. I’m a Presidents Club member. Can anyone in your company tell me what that means? I still don’t know if the problem was fixed after being on the phone with customer service for over an hour. BTW, bring your customer service back to the United States. No one can understand your customer service reps which adds to the horrible customer experience. Lastly, fire Joe Ferraro. If he can improve the Avis customer experience, he shouldn’t be in the role!

We’d been given a car with issues in downtown New Orleans bought it to this Avis as we’d been told they would have plenty of cars and we can do a swap. They didn’t, so on that point I agree with previous reviews.However, when we went in with the car we were helped by two kind employees that went out of their way to help us. The first one came out in their car to direct us to the parking lot we needed to go to. The other did everything she could to get us a new car, speaking to her boss etc. then when she couldn’t the first person got under our car to fix the issue as best they could. We tried other Avis dealers after this and none had an alternative car for us so we were stuck with this one - THANK YOU both so much so much for taking the time to make the car safe for us to complete our road trip of the Deep South. If it helps identify the kind employees, the lady in the office on the parking lot is planning a trip to Thailand soon :)

Checking in was a breeze and took no time at all. Returning the vehicle was just as quick and easy. The car was clean, well-maintained. The price was exceptional.
