Worst car renting experience ever!!! Paid for a 7 seater months in advance. Show up to pick it up and they didn't have a car for me. They had me take a random car from their location to the Baton Rouge airport location to get the car I paid for. When I got there they also didn't have a car I paid for. They then expected me to bring the random car back to their other location!!!! Then they charged me $110 to bring the car from one location to the other!

Extremely poorly managed.Avis preferred member with a reservation and was turned away by an extremely rude employee (Britany) apparently Sold out of vehicles. I however watched many others drive away! There resevation was apparently made before mine so they get priority?!Business meeting depended on my husband for a major engeineering power system outage.Stranded at the airport!I will never book Avis again!

Overcharged and not given an explanation as to how the amount was added. If using fir uber beware if paying with debit card this store will place second weekly charge (place a hold) which they do not explain at time of signing. Here it is holidays and have nothing in my account and being once again over charged

The owner, Mark went above and beyond in assisting me today. My current rental needed to be towed in for repairs which forced me to need a replacement. I arrived at the Avis location on Siegen Lane and was informed that he didn't have any available vehicles. I was disappointed, but Mark was able to work his magic and get me in one the same day. I can't say enough good things about this location!!!

I had a fantastic experience with Avis, especially with owner Mark and his staff. Mark went above and beyond, providing a one-way minivan for my 1000-mile journey on short notice. The minivan was impeccably clean, well-maintained, and made my trip comfortable and enjoyable.The staff were not only efficient but also exuded a warm, friendly, and humorous attitude that made the rental process seamless, quick, and fun. Their professionalism combined with delightful demeanor contributed significantly to a stress-free experience. This marked my third long-haul one-way minivan rental, and it was undeniably the best.Thanks to Mark and the team for making my trip truly memorable for all the right reasons!

It is to be expected getting a vehicle the night before thanksgiving that it would be busy. But there was absolutely no conversation of what I wanted and they just called my name, pointed at a car and walked away, on to the next customer. I was getting a vehicle to make a 700 plus mile turn around to visit lots of family. They ended up giving me an electric car. Which seems cool initially, but when on a very tight schedule and little to no time to sit around and wait for it to charge, while driving more miles than a full battery allowed in one session. They fixed it when I searched allllll over and found someone else with a car available 100 plus miles away from where I got the first car. But I definitely felt irrelevant to them.

Racist owner...accused me of smoking because I detailed the car. The cars have been dirty every time I picked one up. I use the car to do uber. Ive recieved almost 300 five star reviews as a driver with no complaints. The only complaint was this owner/manager..also gave me issues renting the vehicle. His claim is that the app doesn't allow you to enter 2 credit cards ..he refuses to look at my app because to see what I was telling him would have proves him wrong.Born n raises here n louisiana I know a racist when I come across one.Also didn't charge a smoking fee.had he smelled smoke I would've been charged

Was told the deposit was 145. Later found out it was 250, also I’m being charged for an extra day of renting even though it sat in their own parking lot for almost 24 hours.

Had to go somewhere else, bc their machine wouldn't run my card. The same card I used to uber to and from that location. Staff was nice, but wasted time on a busy trip. Card worked fine at Enterprise 15 mins later.

Avis was absolutely AMAZING!!!This was my first time renting a car.They recommended the Chrysler Pacifica and it was PERFRCT!! We rode 6 passengers there and 7 back with much comfort and lots of storage!! Luggage room for 7 ppl with charging outlets throughout the car. Also great on gas mileage!!! I highly recommend Avis!! A huge thanks to Mr Mark Hotard for taking care of us!
