When I was on location working on a movie in Baton Rouge. My downtime was spent perusing books and enjoying my cup of coffee in the cafe.
B&N was conveniently located to the hotel I was staying at. The employees were always friendly and attentive to my needs.

There's nothing inherently wrong with this Barnes and Noble. In fact, it does have a bit of charm and warmth as you walk through and browse its selection of books, movies, music, arts and crafts, etc. I just wished that they'd fix the escalator going up to the next floor. After the first couple of times seeing it out of commission, I didn't think anything of it, but now it's making me think that it's real shame. It must be hard for those who come into the store with disabilities that need ease of access to get to the next floor that can't do it cause the escalator is out. I mean I won't tell anyone to steer clear of this one, but if you do have issues climbing stairs and you don't want to miss out on browsing the full store then I may recommend going to either the store on Bluebonnet Blvd or over on Juban. Again, i still enjoy the store, but until they get the escalator fixed for those having issues climbing stairs, you may just want to go to the next closest available store.

Always stop in after ice cream nearby with my child and love that I can always find a great clearance or neat gifts. Plus my daughter LOVES their child book area and of course the toys!
