We spent a long weekend there! It was great. The food options were FANTASTIC! I highly recommend Johnny Sanchez for breakfast and Drago's for dinner. The casino was nice, lots of slots and table games. The staff every where we went was AMAZING!!! They were all so nice ans hard working. The room was nice although it did show it's age a little but it was still nice. I'd definitely go back.

I will never come back. I went for food at the bar restaurant as you come in and a black fat waitress took her cousins order before me and I came in first. When I told her about it she refused to take my order. I told the manager they said they’d talk to her. Lol. A month later I went back she was still working there and she smirked at me before saying I’m not serving you and told the other girl not to serve me. This place doesn’t care about customers. They only want your money not to make you happy.

I NEVER give negative reviews, but if I could give this a negative number, I would. You have to set up a Penn Play card to play many slots and table games. By the time I found this out, I had already pulled the money out that I planned to gamble with, and you can not load cash onto it at the cashier. You have to then use your phone to upload money to it, meaning you have to connect your bank to it. Of course, if you've ever been inside a casino, then you know cell service is often crap. It's also a glitchy app, which seriously makes me question the security of it being linked to my bank account. This was the first, and definitely the last, time I bother to come to this casino. I'd rather play Quarter Dozer at the local gas station than visit any L'auberge again.

UPDATE: After I left this review, I received a call a couple of days later by an assistant security supervisor, telling me that I was no longer welcome at L'auberge Casino and they no longer wanted my business. So apparently you cannot give them low reviews and tell the truth of what happens to you over there or you will not be welcomed back. WOW!!!!!!!!! I believe this violates my freedom of speech. So in their below response they didn't address it with their team, they just don't want people to know. The security supervisor at L'Auberge is the most racist person I have ever encountered. Several times I had to contact security for physical threats and absolutely nothing was done. I also met a lady in the VIP room there and she was treated exactly the same way. The last one was when I was assaulted and NOTHING was done to the woman. Security allowed her to roam free throughout the casino and never called the police. After speaking with the security boss and calling him a racist because of a clear pattern he seems to follow, he told me to leave or he would call the cops on me for saying that to him. However, it's ok to be assaulted there, but I hurt his little feelings so was asked to leave. He lied about what he saw on video. Two different stories, one from him and one from his boss what he saw on the video, both of them lying or not watching from the right angle to clearly see her grab me. However, they are refusing to let me see the video. This is not a safe place. They will not give me the name of anybody higher up than the employee that is over the supervisor of security. They will not get away with treating people like this.

L'Auberge is undoubtedly the premier gaming venue in the Baton Rouge area. Entertainment selection has definitely moved in a positive direction with an exciting uptick, something needed nadly in the Baton Rouge area for decades. While the dining area, Sportsbook in particular, has been expanded, the quality of the food is not nearly as good as in the past. Patrons' dining experiences should not be limited to a premium steakhouse. Again, shopping experience should be on par with inside venue choices offered in places such as Lake Charles, LA.

The newer casino in town and it is large and beautiful! We went for a concert and the venue is small and intimate, not a bad seat in the house. They have everything imaginable for gambling. Played craps and baccarat. Only bad thing was $25 minimums (in my opinion). I’m not sure if it was like that just for the night or if it’s always that high. Would go again!

I love that it doesn't smell like cigarette smoke! Room was good, beautiful shower. Like that checkout is at 11am. Can't wait til the pool is open. Breakfast at the Sports restaurant was great and priced right.

No bathroom remote, and the phone didn't work. For an expensive hotel the rooms need work. I got there and I thought I was getting service with upgrading to a suite. I should have stuck to the original room. Plus there was spit in the hallway.
