My wife and I have been going to build a bear in the mall of Louisiana since June of 2024, we've been here 5 times since then, we've gotten a capybara, a stitch build a bear each time they came out with another one, the sitting stitch, Halloween stitch, Christmas stitch, Valentine's day stitch, and Easter stitch as well as a small axolotl stuffed animal. Shiloh is the reason we keep coming back, her first trip will forever be remembered by Shiloh giving my wife the best experience and making her fall in love with build a bear as a brand. From the stuffing process, to the heart, voice box, and clothes, her excitement was out of this world and Shiloh is the reason why my wife WILL DEFINITELY keep going back to build a bear. Shiloh made my very first experience on June 16th one that I would never forget! And ever since then I've come back to build a bear just to see Shiloh and get my stitch build a bears!!! I now have 5 stitch build a bears and a capybara build a bear! And it's all thanks to Shiloh for making my experience the beary first time a wonderful one!!!!

This stuff is needlessly expensive but Deja was PHENOMENAL at check out. Isla (I’m probably spelling her name wrong) was so patient with so many kiddos at once, doing the stuffing and the bear hearts.

Great team here! Both managers and employees are very friendly and apart of the collector’s community, which is a breath of fresh air. My bear builder, Shiloh, was an absolute sweetheart, and I hope to see her and the rest of the team soon when I come by again to get more bears stuffed!

Before yesterday, I’ve had nothing but good experiences at this location. I went in to see if the Animal Crossing build a bears were on sale in store like they were online (they were on the website for half off). I asked a younger lady by the sound station if they were half off. She just looked at me confused and said “They’re buy one get one for $14.” I said told her okay and that they’re on the website for half off and was trying to see if they were able to price match because most stores will do that if the product is from their direct site. She just looked at me, shrugged, and said again “They’re buy one get one for $14.”
I was very polite and said “Okay, I will just purchase them online then” and started to walk away. She just laughed and said “Okay.”
As a retail worker myself, I’m super peeved about this interaction. If I was clueless about something (like she appeared to be… but it also seemed like she just didn’t care), I would be asking my manager or looking up the policy. Definitely makes me not want to return to shop.

Lots of fun for the kids, and they get to select and "build" their own new friend. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The shop is clean and bright and well organized. Being able to record your own personalized message to put inside a bear was very cool. Recommended

There was only one guy working in there today. But I've been here many times, everytime I do, I have an incredible experiences here. Got a gift card for my wife and step daughter so they can go build one together!

Randomly stopped by to check it out for the first time. Ms. Deja greeted us warmly and from start to finish she made the process extraordinary. Walked us through every step and made it entertaining and special for my sister building her first bear. I highly recommend a visit, especially if Ms. Deja is there to help.
