About Cat Haven
Cat Haven is an absolutely wonderful place to find a friend. It is a no-kill, non-profit rescue organization serving the greater Baton Rouge area, founded in 1999 with the goal of finding loving families for homeless cats. The facility is very clean, with kind staff and volunteers. The way they have the rooms laid out makes it really easy to interact with the cats to find out who you vibe with, allowing the cats to test families out as well. The adoption process is smooth, professional, and great to deal with. They are knowledgeable and skilled, treating all of their cats with love, respect, and patience, which definitely shows. They are very intimate with each cat, providing a clean bill of health and a back story for each one. Many have found their best friend or a sweet kitty there, with cats living long, happy lives. For anyone looking to adopt a cat or kitten with personality, Cat Haven comes highly recommended.
