#07/2022 Ah the old Chevron diesel stop located on the north side of baton rouge on airline highway they're all the refineries in the industrial area. A place where I used to stop a lot back when I used to pull a lot of stuff from up the road out of the Georgia Pacific paper plant at Zachary. Here I was in the industrial park right behind the truck stop picking up a load I hadn't stopped in here probably as close to 5 years. Some things changed since then some things haven't changed. It's an old building and in the winter it still gets very cold they still have a nice hot deli cooking fresh food into the evening for you after a certain time it's by request for sandwiches. The can was nice and clean. That changed because it used to be nasty years ago. still got a scale right here so you can make sure if you pick up your legal before you head too far out of town and get nailed at the actual scale house. There's still a nice little seating area it's big in the morning with breakfast though very very crowded. However on the weekends come Friday you need to get in fairly early because a lot of the local drivers and short road drivers will park here and leave their trucks so you may not have parking depending on what time you arrive during the week it isn't too bad. I came in it was Friday decided I'm going to have a catfish dinner got three pieces with some mashed potatoes and some yummy peas. I asked what was in the pan that they were about to pitch out because it was passed almost its time as it was like a little mini sirloin riblet like thing he said if wanted for fre I said sure it was pretty tasty it was starting to dry out just to touch though it probably could have used a little bit of gravy which they didn't have because it was too late in the day but the catfish it just came out of the fryer so it was nice and fresh. they now got the freestyle Coke machine so I was able to enjoy a few diet ginger ales. The one thing that hasn't changed though and I remember it from years ago they still have no Pepsi products Coke only. So if you're looking for something from Pepsi you'll have to toole down to another place.

This place is a joke. I HAD been frequenting the business on the weekends to buy breakfast for my crew. We typically work seven days a week. This morning when I stopped to grab some breakfast for them there was a single "lady", (Term I'm using LOOSELY), working in the back where you get your breakfast. I'll just make this short and sweet. She was absolutely one of the most rude and hateful people I've ever dealt with. ANYWHERE! I'll not spend another dime in there for anything, especially the overpriced generic breakfast food with an employee who acts like they hate you for walking through the door. Her behavior was absolutely uncalled for and she should be reprimanded. That being said everyone else has always been super great to deal with. This one person just lost the business of about twenty people by the time I spread the word.

Polite to your face but watch them very carefully. They will steal from you even if you are a regular. I suspect racism but it might just as likely be incompetence or just petty thievery. I bought 2 small bottles of fireball and one large bottle of fireball and one large bottle of Tennessee Honey. When I checked the receipt, I paid for 2 large fireballs and 1 small fireball and the Tennessee honey. Then I checked the contents of the bag and they didn't even put the Tennessee honey in it. That is outright thievery. I haven't contacted the management yet. Watch for an update although I don't expect a satisfactory resolution. Don't spend your money here. I certainly won't.
