We recently had a very good experience with David Moving Company. From the office to the actual move the experience was very smooth. Richard and Jay were efficient and professional. They were an excellent team. We highly recommend David Moving Company.

They hit my car and I can’t contact them anymore. Did not responsibility. They have no insurance . Call them they never answer. Please make sure you know well about them
They broke my stuff . I do have all proof .. be careful with this company

We had and excellent experience recently with David Moving Company. The move required two days and Richard and his team were prompt, professional and courteous. They moved quickly and were very careful with packing and protecting the house. They really made this complicated move requiring both moving and storage a breeze.

I’m an “Old Baton Rougean.” And I grew up with good, reliable, friendly service companies, who go the extra mile. David Moving Company is a class- act! They moved some items I had in a nearby storage unit quickly and efficiently - with a smile. When I discovered a tabletop needed a slight adjustment neither my husband nor I could manage, Richard, one of the movers, returned to my house and fixed it - free of charge! I highly recommend David Moving Company

My experience with David’s Movers was superb. The guys carefully wrapped all of my furniture to protect it from any damage. They were very polite and friendly and my whole family was impressed with their work. My storage room was piled to the ceiling and it was quite challenging to get my things out of there without damaging them and they did a fantastic job! Another perk with David’s Movers was that the price per hour they quoted me from the beginning was the price at the end of my move. There were no add ons like I have experienced with other movers in the past. My move took 5 hours and they multiplied that by the hourly rate and that was my total cost! I would definitely recommend David’s Movers and am truly grateful for their care and expertise when moving me.

Worst Moving Experience Ever—AVOID AT ALL COSTS
If I could give zero stars, I would. I've moved eight times in my life, and David's Moving Company is by far the worst I've ever encountered.
1. Total Disregard for Property: They showed no care for my belongings. During the move, they broke over $4,000 worth of items, put two holes in my brand new home, and scratched our new wood floor.
2. Unprofessional Behavior: The employees got into a literal fight in my front yard. One of them quit on the spot, and I had to personally move the rest of the furniture myself.
3. Inadequate Compensation: When I brought these issues to David's Moving Company, all they offered was a $500 claim, leaving me out at least $4,000—not including the $1,750 I paid them.
Long story short, if you want your belongings damaged and enjoy doing manual labor yourself, then this is the company for you. My suggestion: never use this company. If you need to move, choose another route or do it yourself before considering them.

David Moving Company is the best!!
I've moved cross-country 7 times...The last one was the most complicated.This crew worked together beautifully to organize the packing, storage, then more packing of the furniture items (including a grand piano), then more storage, and a car, then finally a big move to Oklahoma with multiple drop-offs- because my house is too small! An experience I will never forget. I sincerely thank them for handling all my items so carefully. It was a difficult time-Covid in full swing, and my mother had passed. Ya'll are great, but hopefully I'll never do this again!!
