Had to return to Firestone on Florida Street (first time was on Siegen) because my tire light was on. The Siegen Lane manager helped me right away by checking the pressure and adding air to all tires. There was no charge. He said the cold weather caused my tire light to come on. After driving for over a week, the light never went off. I was concerned so I returned to Firestone but this time on Florida. The manager (Robert, I think is his name; he’s very friendly, professional and helpful) had them check my vehicle almost immediately despite being shorthanded. He said the tire pressure was low in each of them and added air to each one but said there was nothing else to worry about. He said you have to drive it a certain amount of time and the light should go out but if it doesn’t, take it to the dealership. I was charged a small service fee for getting it checked this time. I mean it’s okay but I thought it for free especially since I bought all four tires and rotate and alignment package from them (as well as got my ac replaced there).

I went in for an oil change and also ask that my battery be checked. I needed a new battery and got my oil changed. The guy who check my car out told me I had a nail in my tire. The tire was one I purchased at
Firestone with the tire warranty. I was told tire wasn't in stock, they couldn't order and didn't know when it would come in. As a single mother who travels in and out of town, the manager convinced me to get it and now I need to use it, it's not even worth it. I doubt very seriously that I go back. The mechanics were great, the manager simply said that just the way it is.

Mr. Robert was extraordinarily helpful and kind. He thoroughly explained my options and was able to quickly accomodate me on the same day. I would recommend this shop to anyone!

December 2024 by Queenat Young
I brought my car to the shop because there was a loud, high-pitched noise coming from the passenger rear side. I took it to Firestone at 7:02 AM on December 12, 2024, and received a call at 12:39 PM, during which I was informed that the noise was caused by the belt tensioner. The cost to replace it was $452.32, which I approved; however, it wouldn't be ready in time, so I returned to the shop on December 13, 2024, for the repairs. I picked up my car around 3:30 PM that day, but within 10 minutes, the same noise reappeared. I immediately called Firestone, and Robert answered. He informed me that the technician had left for the day and asked me to bring the car back on Monday, to which I agreed.
On December 16, 2024, at around 7:05 AM, I dropped my car off again for further inspection. Robert was present when I brought it in. At 9:10 AM, a technician called to say he was surprised to see my car there, as he and another technician had driven it and noticed no issues. I told him that he needed to drive it under more specific conditions, as the noise doesn't always manifest immediately. At 9:58 AM, the technician called back to say he finally heard the noise, attributing it to my rear brakes. However, he also claimed I was experiencing two different sounds, which was incorrect; the sound I reported was the same high-pitched noise I had heard before.
The bottom line is that my car remains unfixed, and I feel that my money was taken without resolving the issue. It's worth noting that while the technician mentioned other potential problems with the vehicle, my primary concern was the loud high-pitched sound, which I was assured did not require immediate attention.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. I dropped my car off before work for a wheel alignment. I called to inquire on the status of my car at 10:50am and was told that they had not started and would be another 15 minutes on another vehicle before mine. I received a call at 11:22am that my vehicle was ready. Because this location is near my job, I walked down to get it at 12pm. I had to ask for the paperwork and the guy slipped it to me not discussing anything. As I left, I noticed the car driving the same as I brought it in. I checked the paperwork and it was not for MY vehicle. I turned around and went back to the store and asked for MY paperwork. I was told maybe it’s still on the printer…no paperwork. I asked if the work had even been done they assured me it was. I asked if they could reprint the alignment readings…the system somehow stopped working. Because my tire light was on when I arrived, I inquired why they hadn’t brought it to my attention…”oh we should’ve caught that” was their response. Just from research and experience, I know that an alignment takes longer than 15-20 mins., I also know for a business that specializes in tire repair/replacement they should’ve notified me of the tire light being on. I believe they did not perform the service at all. I will never recommend the Downtown Florida Street location to anyone. Each person spoke to me as if I don’t know my vehicle nor have I had an alignment before…when in fact I have a lifetime alignment due to my tires being staggered. All this to say, zero work ethic, zero customer service, zero time management for this location.

Excellent customer service. Quick turnaround time. I got a flat tire on the way back to work on my lunch break, and the Firestone team at this location were able to replace the flat, 2 other worn tires and service my vehicle by the end of the day without an appointment! Highly recommend Firestone!

Was charged for a service that I did not receive, meaning Firestone had my car for 9 hours and only completed 1 of 2 services. They didn’t call me when my car was ready. Oil was all over my driver seat and water bottle that was in my cup holder ??????? MY NAME IS NOT AMBER ????!!!! They have several profiles under my phone number all of a sudden. Very UNSATISFACTORY SERVICE

Took my car in thinking I needed to get my brakes done. To my surprise I was told I didn’t need them replaced yet. Most places would have just charged me for the service and/or replaced them without it needing to be done. The staff was friendly and I appreciate their honesty and will bring my future business to this location!

I have been a patron of the Firestone located in downtown Baton Rouge for many years. The customer service at this location is second to none. The staff is always friendly and always helpful. John was especially helpful during my last visit: he listened to me describe a problem and made a suggestion for what he thought was causing the issue. He said if the problem wasn’t fixed, I should return and we can try something else. I am happy to report his suggestion (balancing the tires) fixed my problem. The wonderful customer service I receive and have begun to expect from the staff keeps me coming back to this location over and over.
