Hertz Car Rental - Baton Rouge - Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport (BTR)

Car Rental
Hours: Hertz Car Rental at Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport (BTR) receives mixed reviews highlighting significant inconsistencies in service. Several customers report horrible experiences, including very long wait times due to only one employee working the counter, a situation described as ridiculous. Some renters encountered serious vehicle maintenance issues, including cars with dashboard warnings indicating no oil, leading to safety concerns and breakdowns. Customer service is polarized; while some clerks are reported as unhelpful, other employees are consistently praised. Specific staff members are noted for being awesome, cordial, pleasant, friendly, approachable, and helpful, going above and beyond to assist customers, personally guide them, and quickly exchange defective vehicles despite being understaffed. The overall sentiment suggests the franchise owner may be doing the bare minimum, leading to operational challenges. However, when positive, the service is excellent, and rental prices can be cheaper than other agencies, with vehicles described as pretty much brand new. The location offers a wide variety of rental vehicles, including luxury cars, sports cars, SUVs, EVs, vans, and trucks.
