The exhibits are nice, although they can feel cramped and small when it's busy. For the price they charge, it's just not as nice as other children's museums we've visited. The New Orleans one is much better, for example. The staff is also hit or miss. One visit we experienced several staff members that were rude and acted like they didn't want to be there. Children's museums should be staffed with people that appreciate children.

We came on a weekend on a LSU game day. We had no problem with traffic getting to the museum itself, even with the game going on. It wasn’t too crowded when we got there. When we entered, my poor baby tripped and busted open his lip (he tripped on himself, he’s very clumsy). Like an angel descending from the heavens, Trish at the front desk came out with napkins and an ice pack to make sure that my baby was ok. She made sure that I had everything I needed to take care of his injury. Other employees are coming out to check on me and they were all so sweet. Trish came to check on him and I when I was cleaning him off and I cannot sing enough praises. They knew how to keep a frazzled mom calm. Just for her care and the employees care, I will come back to this museum again! It was so nice too, love the outdoor area and the dance studio!

The grandchildren love exploring, learning, creating, and playing at the Knock Knock Museum. There are various separate hands on areas for the children to explore; art, construction, bubbles, science, shopping, restaurant, automobile, reading, fitness and health, wind tunnel, fishing, dance. There is a large play area in back of the museum with a sand pit and beautiful large trees. We have a membership and visit often! The staff and volunteers are always nice and helpful!

Tried to spend a hot day indoors. One of the workers there yelled at my child (more than once) even with 3 parents (me, my husband, & another child’s father) were right there. 2 days later, all 3 of my children are sick. Which has been a common occurrence when we visit here. We decided to risk in one more time in hopes to have a better experience, but it was worse this time.

My daughter and I attended this place for the first time. We went on Mother's Day weekend. Watching her smile was all the Mother's day gift I needed. The atmosphere was refreshing, family oriented, fun, learning, and safe. The three ladies behind the reception desk were a breath of fresh air. Thanks for a great first experience. We will definitely be back??

Loved it! My 10 year old had a great time interacting with the different stations. There are a lot of different options that allow children of different ages to enjoy the centers. We were able to fully enjoy everything in about 3 hours. There was a technical error when I pre-purchase our tickets. I called before we left the hotel(about 30 minutes before they opened) and the person at the desk had it corrected by the time we arrived. So we had no issues and headed straight to the fun! I highly recommend a visit here!

The best children's museum we have ever taken our kids to! Visiting from Houston with our autistic 3 year-old, 21-month-old, and 3 month-old. Great quiet space for over-stimulated toddlers and nursing a baby. Such friendly staff, and nice and clean play areas. This place is so great and accessible for toddlers, and they had so much fun playing pretend. We will be back!

We are from Lafayette, I have a 2 year old and a 8 month old. The children's museum in Lafayette is really old and needs updating, so we decided to make the drive here. First of all, I love the fact that if your on food stamps, they let you in free! We all loved the place, especially since we are into Montessori learning. it was even fun for us parents! The only problem I had was that my kids got RSV while they were here. Please be careful and wash your kids hands at each station and don't let them sneak anything in their mouth.

Love this for my 20 month old. It's a great place for kids, especially on hot days because it's cool inside and usually has a snowball stand outside. There are interesting exhibits for all school age children. Memberships are totally worth it!

Stopped here on our way to Pensacola for our 2 year old. She had a great time. So much for children to do. A must go for kids of all ages. So much cool stuff and activities. Adults will have fun too.

We had a great time!! We stayed for about 2hrs and the kids really enjoyed it. I think their favorite areas were the grocery store & auto area. My only suggestion would be for them to improve the outside (behind the museum) it looked abandoned & didn't matched the rest of the building. My children wanted to wonder around out there & I said no it looked dirty overgrown & just scary.

First time going and my family had a great time. Employees were very friendly. One member even sat with my daughter to teach and play with her. It’s the small things like that that make this place special. Will go again!

I went today with my granddaughters and daughter and I felt like a kid there. It was very educational and entertaining. I also have to compliment the young people working there. They were the nicest employees I have encountered in awhile. It's so nice to see young people who are polite, helpful and smiling.
