We have been repeat customers of the Lazy Boy Gallery in Baton Rouge but will not be loyal any longer.Lazy Boy is not what it used to be. They do not stand behind their warranty. My mother-in-law bought 2 recliners and 2 sofas. Plastic piece on one of the recliners brought in less than one year. Went into the Baton Rouge Lazy Boy Gallery store and was given an 800 number to call for a replacement part. Basically told take care of it yourself. Not the service you would expect from a local furniture store that she has been loyal to for over 30 years.The Lazy Boy warranty required us to pay shipping for the defective part.

If I could leave less than one star I would. The sales lady Sima was so damn rude. It completely ruined my experience and I will not be back!

We purchased a Lazy Boy sofa and love seat about 1.5 years ago and paid $4300 for it. It has been junk since we received it. There are plastic clips that keep falling out of it, and now the metal frame is broken from these clips falling out. On the left-hand side on the sofa doesn't have any support, and it is like sitting on a toilet. The back center cushion wobbles because the brackets are junk. On the love seat, the headrest motor doesn't work. We have called Lazy boy service center and nobody ever answers the phone. It puts you on hold, and nobody ever answers.I have emailed them over and over, and they never answer. They finally sent a service tech our and he told my son and wife that this design is terrible and he is going to recommend that they replace it. It has been weeks, and I still haven't heard back from them. I emailed them, and they never replied. I went to the local store last weekend, and they told me that they couldn't help. They looked online, and they said that the tech report was not on the warranty claim. Today, FED ex delivered 2 plastic clips, and we were charged $17.00. I wouldn't recommend anyone purchase from this company because they don't support their lifetime frame warrany on this crappy furniture.

They were running zero interest with approval and I was approved. Went to the store to purchase a recliner but was told that I hade to put half down in cash or a credit card. I gave them the info to my La-z-boy card and they told me that I could only finance half of the cost of the chair. Also, the chair was $1900. I left the Baton Rouge store and went to the Metairie store and was told that I could finance the entire amount. Also, the same chair was $500 less in Metairie.

Purchased a Lazyboy recliner September 2022 special order Arrived December 2022. Chair had problems week of Delivery After a month of wating and several calls they send a repair person to try to fix. The recliner is rubbing on the frame wood to wood. The repair technician change the whole base on the Recliner. This did not correct. After calling over and over complaing I get a call saying Lazyboy Dealer Baton Rouge was taken over by manufacturer and they have a repair company would come out again. The repair technician came out and stated that he has now Idea why they sent him out the chair needs replacing. After no calls from Lazyboy I called which I was told in Febuary that they had to send in to there factory for approval for replacement. Months passed with me calling leaving messages on top of messages. I spoke to the manager Brady in May 2023 and explained problem, he stated "Oh we told you that you could come in and pick another chair out on the floor to exchange out. I went in and look at the chairs on the floor, which was not the color nor the special order leather and accessories that I ordered. Mr Brady informed me that if I wanted what I originally ordered before It would have to pay for special orders. You only get floor models. A few days later after being so frustrated with Lazyboy my wife called and spoke to Mamager Brady which he stated again you can come get a floor model. She said no we paid for the premium leather, treated with certain accessories special ordered this is what we want, again he said no. We asked for a refund at this point . After informing Lazyboys manager we would be seeking legal advise , a instant call was returned asking for my amount paid, credit card number to send refund which we would get within 24 hrs. One week later we call back after no refund, the manager Brady tell us oh we need a copy of your receipt So from December 2022 when I received a recliner from Lazyboy Baton Rouge I am still dealing with a special order chair that I paid for around 3 500 dollars that makes a grinding loud noise when rocking and reclining. Very very very disappointed in the construction on Lazyboy Recliners and especially, management.

Sales experience was great. Product is awful. Buyer beware. It’s particle board, stapled together!! After a few months one of the arms on my husband’s recliner started to wobble, we turned it upside down and this is what we found. The warranty claim was honored—corporate takeover extended wait time—but I hope the picture of the staples attached to this review is visible. The man worked on the chair for an hour and I don’t know what staples he put in, but these are the ones that came out!! It’s shocking. I hope this chair lasts another 6 months.

We have purchased four La-Z-Boy Lancer recliners over the years, so when my SIL broke her knee, we invited her over for what turned out to be the best rest she had since her fall. On Sunday we wheeled her into the Gallery where Joseph met us at the door. He steered us toward the Lancer recliners and explained the features of each. She tried several sizes and different features before she all but fell asleep in the one she bought.While she was buying, I was looking at the newest Lancer. Joseph gave me honest info about reupholstering my current chair vs purchasing a new one. My fifth recliner will be delivered tomorrow.Joseph’s patience and experience were greatly appreciated by all.

Bad experience for me. My brother-in-law had to put down $400 on his personal card to reserve a lift chair due to my father-in-law's card having problems. When he told me of the problem I called to complete what we owed, I was told they refused to take my credit card over the phone and I would have to drive from out of town to present my card. The chair wasn't to be delivered for 6 days.I'm done with those people; the salesman didn't seem to care once he had my money.

Mrs. Sima Ferrari was the Sales Rep that helped us. She was very knowledgeable in helping me choose the right color to match my furniture at my home. She was very friendly and I really appreciated her help. We really like Lazy Boy furniture and have had great success with our recliners.
